I should have never stayed a Twins fan (born in '67, victim to Calvin Griffith crushing dreams for years) but luckily I stuck it out. Even with all the playoff disappointments the last 30 years.

Oh yes, I've been happily aboard the struggling Phins boat since Dan retired after that, ahem, less than stellar performance in the playoffs and utter beat down by Jacksonville.

But hey, I've also been a Cubs fan all my life too, so there is a shining example of how things can turn around for a franchise.......eventually.........

Since moving here, I've taken in the Twins too. It will be a glorious day when they oust the Stankees from the playoffs. Whats a huge bummer about this year is I can picture a deep Twins run and nobody will be allowed in the stands to see it.

Vikings get a roughing the passer call to extend opening drive and then have to settle for a FG due to lousy play calls inside the 10. Frustrating to say the least.

The Colts just called a bad play in the red zone. Not sure why their OC dialed you an interception!

Cousins tries to force a deep throw into double coverage to Thielen and it gets picked off.

There has been one pass thrown to a WR not named Thielen. He's basically getting doubled every snap.

Kirk Cousin is BRUTAL. Captain Kirk is the definition of a nerd QB, with zero ability to improvise if a play breaks down. He simply lacks creativity & flair, a product of a pass happy League. After 2 years & 2 games...Captain Kirk is nothing more than a boxscore QB and a pretty small boxscore, at that, I’ve seen enough. Tank for Trevor, nuff said.

BTW... Cousins accomplished a nearly impossible feat. He pulled a Blutarsky in passer rating after three quarters.

This will be a very frustrating season. We'll be good enough to win a handful of games. We'll be like 6-10, while the f*** Jets or someone else goes 1-15, 2-14, to get Lawrence. We'll pick like 7th and draft an offensive lineman.

I was literally explaining this same thing to someone at work today. We will pull something together and win 4 games. No matter who has the top pick, they would be dumb not to take him. Even if they just drafted a QB a couple of years ago or not.

Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr suffered a torn pec and has been placed on Injured Reserve, Head Coach Mike Zimmer said Monday.

Zimmer said he expects the injury to be season-ending.

Barr, a four-time Pro Bowler, suffered the torn pec Sunday against the Colts in Indianapolis.

It's a tough loss for a defense that's played its first two games of the season without two-time Pro Bowl DE Danielle Hunter.

Offense playing better today, D giving up a lot of yards but so far no TD’s but 3 FGs I’d be willing to lose 13 more in a row if it guarantees drafting Trevor Lawrence, but Vikings will inevitably screw that up

I turned on the Raiders vs Patriots game, saw in the bug that the Vikes were up 30-24 with ~4 minutes on the clock and knew they were losing the game. That's what a lifetime of watching Minnesota sports does to a person.
