Somebody sang Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves on The Voice this week.

That's a sign.

Gophers sweep. Cumulative score 192-1.
Ok...Who wins?...Motzko or a hurricane? But, before you answer, the hurricane's name is "Motzko".

Depends what Motzko is wearing... JCPenney suit -- edge to coach Motzko. Hubert White suit--- edge to hurricane Motzko
Plus, what jersey will Lucia have on this weekend? :D

I'm probably the only one here that still has Dish TV, but their schedule shows the Gophers vs ND on ch 149 Friday.

I used to always go to the first round WCHA playoff games which were always on High School Tournament weekend and they had actual fans in the stands.

I did too, but there were probably 2/3 of the fans you would see without HS going on.

Perfect opportunity for people buy the $20 ticket and sit at center ice. Last year our section had 10 people in it.

I just went to the fox sports go website and they show FS2 as a viewing option tonight for racing which is on live now. So I would say a maybe :D to streaming, but head on down to Mariucci. Plenty of good seats available.

Hard to believe attendance has dropped to this!. Tickets are very affordable so complaining/blaming cost on not attending doesn't hold water. Minnesota State HS hockey will have 17-18,000 in attendance. The BIG tried to boost attendance by having playoffs on campus I guess interest is just this low. Attendance for the Frozen Four is also in decline as you can buy tickets today for an event that used to be a tough ticket to get. Sad. That being said, Go Gophers! hope the guys can have energy in an empty building.

BTW.... Prior to the last two seasons, the last time MN played at home during the State Hockey Tournament was in 2012. That was a WCHA 1st round series against Alaska Anchorage. The tickets sold was 9,410 on Friday and 9,019 for Saturday. I am guessing that there was a bunch of no shows due to the HS Tourney, but clearly they sold a crapload more seats.

But remember that back then the WCHA playoff tickets were included in the season ticket package. AND the number of season tickets back then was around 8k. These days the season ticket numbers are under 5k.

But with so many less season tickets being sold these days.... They MUST go back to including the playoff tickets in the package.

Before this year yes, for 2020-21 no. I honestly think they were so excited that they lowered the price that they forgot about adding them as an option. They sometimes have a lack of detail around there.

I have received emails about 20-21 ticket pricing, but certainly nothing about ordering at this point. That usually comes sometime in May and I imagine the option will be there just like it was this year.

I haven't checked my account yet, but from what a couple people have said when they did the renewal, it wasn't an option this year. Dumb.

I remember being at the Friday night game of that series and from what I remember there was still quite a crowd even considering it was only AA.

Neither Big ten playoffs nor the parking pass were offered as part of the renewal process.

They probably figure with attendance like this it’s too much of a pita to refund everyone for unused games so why bother offering them in advance. I’m fine with it as long as I still get dibs on my seats and a better price than the general public. As we’ve hashed out before, anyone who truly cares about the program knows when the playoffs are and will attend, regardless if tickets were pre-purchased or not.

Actually.... I just heard that they did not include the option at this time as to not confuse it with tickets for THIS season since the renewal came out so early. They will be adding it back in after the season is over.

I've already renewed with no option to add playoffs or parking for playoffs. Saving a couple hundred more than makes up for it.

That's a good thing, I'd say. Glad I'm waiting, makes it easier to do the opt-in ahead of time.

I have a pair for tonight I can't use. Sick kid. If you want them Dm me and you can have them for free.

Just boosting this one more time because i've gotten nothing. Just want someone to use them since I can't.
If you or anyone else out there has an extra or two for tomorrow (Saturday) night, I'll gladly take them off your hands.

Back in 2012, it was only three extra tickets. This year it was 5. They might need to figure something out where not charging for all possible games ahead of time.

They now have the technology where they don't charge ahead of time. I only have been charged for Friday and saturday's games. If Sunday happens then I'll see another charge for that one. You authorize the charges ahead of time, but they actually only charge your credit card for the games as they happen.

So it shouldn't be that hard, but yet somehow it is.

Playing the last team we beat should give us the opportunity to regroup for a postseason push. The one thing I wanted last weekend that did not happen was for us to finish the regular season strong and Saturday we seemed rather scared, but fortunately things worked out to have us host Notre Dame and the road after that looks at most as tough as the last two weekends and we had chances to win those. Let's take care of business this weekend.

I did just pay when reserving my seats a few weeks ago.

Hopefully that will be the norm going forward as they now finally have the technology in the ticket selling software to do that. Guess last summer that wasn't fully launched. If they can do it now, I would assume they should be able to do the same during this years renewals.

But then again logic has never been a positive for this organization.

Not to beat a dead horse, but if I don't have FS2, am I just SOL then?

I have Xfinity / Comcast and the channel indicates that FS2 requires a subscription...thought I'd ask.

So much for BADgers being red hot after the 4-1-1 record the last three weeks against NCAA tournament teams (Penn St, Arizona St, and Ohio State) they are losing 8-0 tonight against Ohio State. Did their goalies/team not show up?
