When it comes to protecting Princess Rogers the refs outdo themselves every week. Just cancel the rest of the season and put GB in the NFC championship game.
Can we build a wall around Wisconsin and trick them into paying for it?

In regards to penalties.

The Packers are #2 for beneficiary yards.

They are #5 in yards against.

No team depends on the Zebras more than the Pack.

He is playing the odds. In two attempts the odds are well over 50 percent to get one of them.

If you can get it the first time you might put yourself in position to win. If you miss the pressure is on and you might be a donkey.

I have no idea about Carilina’s kicking game and if they miss extra points if so that might play into it.

What a shock they don’t have a clear camera angle at Lambeau goal line (when opponent trying to tie score) 🧐

I think the analytical idea is that with 11+ minutes left and a 6 point lead they could kick 2 field goals to tie.

Very fun MNF matchup tonight with Seattle and San Francisco. There are few things I enjoy in the game more than a team calling a timeout right before the snap on a FG attempt and then watching the kicker drill it through on the second try.

SEA 3rd and 3 from midfield with 1 minute left in OT...SEA best play is obviously for Wilson to drop back and immediately scramble for a first down. SF doesn’t even spy Wilson, everyone drops into coverage and he scrambles 20 yards into FG range....oops...

They are being jerkfaces about it. Smug a-holes.

As long as the next team wasn't jerkfaces, I'd welcome them to the club. Not be mad about it. It's not good sportsmanship on the Dolphins' part, IMO.

They are. And technically, NE was not undefeated that season. I have to back that reasoning.....

He originally got thrown to the ground unnecessarily. Up by 14, with 8 seconds left, Garrett should not be doing anything like that.

The. #65 comes in and hits Rudolph hard from behind as Rudolf is standing there, with no helmet.

It does appear as Rudolph was pulling on Garrett’s face mask while on the ground:

Can you imagine if Garrett had connected with Rudolph's head/face with the crown of the helmet, as opposed to the edge of the underside? My God, he could shattered Rudolph's skull. Yeah, that's a suspension for at least the remainder of 2019.

Garret better watch his back. I wouldn't want to mess with Maurkice Pouncey. He was good friends with Aaron Hernandez and we all know how good of a guy he was. I kid, of course, but I am not sure what even caused it all.

Let me state my biases: I dislike the Steelers and I dislike Pouncey in particular.

With that said, Pouncey did exactly what an o-lineman has to do in that situation. It doesn't matter if his QB retaliated after the roughing the passer, it doesn't matter that the QB was going after the d-lineman without a helmet, it doesn't matter what suspension/fine might come. When someone tries to kill your QB you go after them.

How often do people on this board complain because other teams take "liberties" with Wild skilled* players with no retaliation?

I'm willing to bet money Pouncey is a hero in the Steelers lockerroom, and will be a hero in any lockerroom he ends up in for the rest of his career (until he's directly involved in some sort of gangland killing in the offseason, which is a distinct possibility)

I think Joe Buck was more offended by Randy Moss' fake mooning in Green Bay than he was with the near bashing in of the Steeler's QB's head. :)

I’ll be curious to hear what triggered that reaction.

Something way naughty must have been said. Reg Dunlop level.
Rudolph hit him in the nuts twice

Garrett was already going after him at that point, though.

My take is, Rudolph isn't innocent, BUT, he did "football stuff" that happens many times, and nothing comes of it.

Garrett SWUNG A HELMET AT RUDOLPH'S HEAD.

That's another level. If Garrett just ripped the helmet off, ok, maybe a fine, but no suspension. Ejected either way.

Oh I totally agree, stuff like that happens, but ripping a helmet and using it as a weapon is beyond unacceptable

I doubt he was trying to kick him in the nuts.

A) dudes don’t do that
B) football player wear nut cups

Even if still frames appear a nut kicking happened, it doesn’t make sense.

There are plenty of dudes who will do something like attack another guys jewels, doesnt make it right and is a weak move, but some guys have no respect and in fumble piles, all sense of deceny was gone among majority.

Not all players wear cups. I wore mine religiously when I played, but I knew plenty of guys on my team and other teams that didnt wear cups because of lack of comfort or inhibited their ability to make moves, run, etc. As mentioned, some of the smaller guys in the huddle would say if another player on the opposing team was wearing a cup or not and RBs would aim for it on pass blocks. Some guys would do anything for a competitive advantage or were just cheap.

Apparently there are a lot of $h!teee people out there. If the QB did try to kick the guy in the nuts I don’t have sympathy for him.

So what you are saying is if you kicked in the nuggets it's ok to rip his helmet off and swing it at his head? Really?

No, but if your willing to go dirty in a fight then expect he same to happen to you. It’s not OK for the other guy to rip his helmet off, but I don’t feel bad for the QB if he started the dirty play by kicking a guy in his nuts.

Rudolph first tried to rip Garrett's helmet off when they were on the ground after the sack. That doesn't justify him swinging the helmet at Rudolph but that's what set him off.

Garrett had the late grounding of Rudolph. Rudolph grabs helmet Garrett goes apesh*.

Yeah the ball was gone. Then Garrett made contact. Then spun and threw Rudolph to the ground. Then held him to the ground. Rudolph only had the head to go for.

To paraphrase Captain Queenan in " The Departed ", Colin Kaepernick doesn't want to be an NFL QB, he wants to appear to want to be an NFL QB. Too bad, the Bears could use the guy that used to be Colin Kaepernick, NFL QB. I rarely agree (or listen to...) Stephen A. Smith, but he called this one right.

Do the Raiders have draft picks from the Mack trade for next off seasons draft? Or were they just this past one.

They are 6-4.

Bears held scoreless in the first half again. As bad as our kicker issues have been they weren’t as bad as the Bears’...brutal.

What was worse? Myles Garrett hitting Mason Rudolph with his helmet or Turkey Jones planting Terry Bradshaw after the whistle?

Turkey Jones was fined $3000 for his hit on Bradshaw.
