Pretty cool story, personally I would have bet $200 000 on the bears...you can't go 19 for 20 and get nothing...guaranteed pay out of $200k to $500k on an $0.89 cent bet...

Got change for a dollar???

He should have hedged and bet on the Bears. Enough to get half of the ultimate payout.

I've been thinking about this. How would a normal person even come up with the cash to pick up $250,000 gain on a Bears win? I assume the Bears were favored and the size of the bet would be pretty huge.

In the pregame show Erin Andrews asked Rodgers if he signed off on the new head coaching hire, he said said that’s not what happened and was OBVIOUSLY lying.

They can actually sing, and I know Shakira writes her own songs (or at least used to) and can play some instruments.

Green Bay offensive line holding all night long to protect Rogers, hate the home field reffing in Green Bay. And the D is afraid to hit him when he runs.

It’s not like s like Philly, but the injury inflicted by Sendaho on his teammate actually gave the D time to rest for at least 5 minutes and disrupted the flow of the Packers late drive. Eagles 🦅 hold on...tuff hop for the Packers :biggrin2:

NFL suspends Burfict the rest of the season for his dirty hit on Colts Doyle. He takes Ric Flair"s "dirtiest player in the game" quote to a whole new level. Only the Raiders would sign him and make him a captain. He certainly would have fit in with former Raiders Tatum, Hendricks, Romanowski and Alzado.

I didn’t see the play until the ejection hit the web. I’m watching I’m really surprised that Lamarcus Joyner wasn’t also disciplined for his helmet to helmet hit on the same play and player. Maybe you argue Burfict’s hit set that up and put the player in line for the 2nd hit. I don’t know, both seemed bad and involved leading with the crown of the helmet.

The Redskins told Gruden to be at the office at 5am, just to fire him. If there’s ever a day to show up late, that was it.

Since there are only 2 winless teams now, and they play each other later in the year, the most it will be is one, unless they tie. I would say Miami has the greatest chance to go 0-16 , and Cinci will win a couple of games.

Fitzmagic will steal a game somewhere, so if he's the starter for a period of time the odds of them going 0-16 are small IMO

Yet another obvious Pass interference on GB there...

This is being set up for a win for the home squad.
It was obvious...so obvious in fact that I'm wondering why they didn't have a look at it.

I get that NFL reffing is a tough job, but two huge plays go against the Lions on the Packers' home field....Lions' fans have to be livid.

Little tic turd ref player of the game. Then little tic turd kicker kicks a nine inch field goal and needs a boost to do a Lambeau Leap.

The Vikes didn’t get hosed as bad as the Lions but the timeliness of some O pass interferences in week two and you wonder where the packers would be without the refs.

The refs are deciding games as much as other factors, like injuries or dropped passes in the end zone. Tonight, it would not be a stretch to say they decided the game for the Packers. The Lions did not pressure Erin in the second half, but, notably, there weren't any calls against the Packers' offense either. It's a travesty, and it cheapens the sport.

Semi-related, watched the MN-PHI game with a PHI native on Sunday and some other MN fans. The other game on tv was HOU-KC.

No one disagreed.

Detroit Free Press twitter gold...

Final: Packers 23, Lions 22.

"Lions blow a 13-point lead, settle for 5 field goals and have multiple blown calls go against them but, on the bright side, in 5 billion years the sun will swell into a red giant, vaporize the Earth and obliterate all evidence of this game happening"

and finally...

"Watching the Detroit Lions is like eating a sandwich

Except the sandwich is on fire

You're on fire

Everything's on fire"

And you're in hell

Watching the Lions"
