Bridgewater looking good for Denver, but a receiver dropped a ball in the end zone and now Jeudy rolled his ankle and fumbled the ball on the same play.

Yeah I wonder what the metrics would say for odds on Winston throwing 5 TDs and no INTs with Rodgers throwing 0 TDs and 2 INTs? Then add in Rodgers only throwing for 133 yards before getting pulled in the 4th quarter.

It is going to take a few weeks for me to get used to players with low numbers playing positions that normally did not allow them before.

6 offensive coaches, a nutritionist, and a player on injured reserve. the packers probably didn't have a lot of exposure.

Riverboat Ron might be the best nickname for a coach. Im pretty sure the nickname stated while Ron Rivera was the head coach at Carolina.

Disappointed the Vikings let Heinicke go, he’s one of the better backup QBs in the league.

The hyphenated name receiver? Great throw, threw it where the D cannot get it, but credit is also due to the receiver. That was a helluva catch.

I feel like the Giants under using Barkley is the story here. I know he’s coming off a knee but 8 receptions and 20 carries is a minimum

Sounds like the Giants “Lioned” it. WFT misses last second FG only to be given a second chance after a NYG offsides penalty.

Deshaun Watson made multiple “massage therapists” stick their fingers up his butt among other sexual garbage and is still on Houston’s roster. Good QBs get the ultimate pass.

He's also inactive, and stuck in purgatory unless a team is sucker enough to trade for him. The sticking point, HOU is still paying him. Basically not letting an opponent have an asset on the field.

Going into this season I would 100% take Heinicke over ducking Sean Manion who was released by Seattle. These QB decisions seem super vital and super obvious, How can these goobers GMd making millions not see it? It’s the most important position in all of sports and they only keep 2? I’d keep 4-5 and develop all of them Duh.

Why does it seem that there are more fights at sporting events these days or is it because everyone has a camera phone now?

The two guys that started fighting, sure throw some soft punches… lol!!!

Though to answer your question. Yes, everyone has a camera phone now days. And people are so quick to whip them out. Though I think it’s more because the world is going crazy. More people than ever have a chip on their shoulder. And way too many people think they are tough guys. I blame the millennials… ;-)

It's become okay to start stuff like that. It's always been around, but "mob mentality" was more for the peace, not the fight. Don't upset the cart. That's changed.

I agree. I usually have MNF on kind of in the background anyway, so it's cool to have them BS'ing on the screen, they have some really insightful points, at times. I also enjoy Peyton's sense of humor, lol

Packer fans think Rodgers is the greatest QB ever but he has almost 5K less career passing yards than Matt Ryan in essentially the same amount of seasons.

A big reason is that Matt Ryan's teams have been behind A LOT in his career. They had to pass.

Matt Ryan is really good and sorta get overlooked due to how mediocre that franchise has consistently been. Rodgers throws way less interceptions and injuries probably bring that number down a bit compared to Matt Ryan who has missed 3 games his entire career

I have felt the same way about Stafford. He is better than what his reputation is.

Wait, Oakland doesn't have a team?

What's the count now, 3? Or is it 4? It's like getting sent to your deadbeat parent's house until you find a stable place to live.

Out of curiosity I looked up Matt Ryan's record as a starter and per-season record. He has 6 seasons with 10+ wins (two 13-3 seasons) and another where he was 9-5 as a starter. He also has 3 seasons with 6 or fewer wins (probably 4 based on how they look so far this season). He only has 3 seasons with 7 or 8 wins, one 8-8 record, one 7-9, and one 7-8.
Given how bad they've been lately I expected to see a few more 6-10, 5-11 seasons.

Rodgers has played in 9 fewer games but won 13 more and lost 30 less (one tie, Ryan has 0 ties). I assume the difference is games Rodgers started but did not finish the game? I'm not sure how the NFL counts those scenarios. Rodgers has 60 more TDs and 70 fewer INTs on 900ish fewer attempts.

You start a game, you start a game. Games played is different (and in this day and age, I'm sure there are sites that track that). ARodg prob left games earlier than Matt, due to garbage time. ARodg is the better QB, I don't know anyone who would really question that on a serious basis. Matt Ryan's stats are a tad inflated (the raw stats) just b/c he HAD to throw.

NFL Wild Card weekend... with the extra playoff game in each conference. The NFL will have the following format.
2 games on Saturday
3 games on Sunday
1 game on Monday

It's all about the money... I'm not a fan of it either. And the winner of the Monday night playoff game better play on the following Sunday, not Saturday.

Since the Super Bowl era (1967) the earliest week the NFL now longer had a undefeated team was at week 4. 1970 (Rams, Broncos, Lions), 2010 (Bears, Steelers, Chiefs) and 2014 (Eagles, Bengals, Cardinals).

The Vikings 6 times were the last undefeated team in the NFL.
1973: 9-0 / Lost in Super Bowl

Well I assume whoever wins on MNF would automatically be playing on Sunday. That's no different than the teams in the current/previous setup who play on Sunday in wild card weekend and then have to play Saturday in the divisional round, right?

I'd be shocked if they made someone play on Monday and then again on Saturday. If they did, I agree that'd be BS

Talk about clutch kicking. I think I saw that Justin Tucker has never missed a kick in his career in the final minute of regulation in his career

Btw… since this may be a dumb question all looked up… Why do they call Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay-Tampa Bay?
