The Bears prevail in shitshow fashion. They also managed to: A. score a touchdown and B. Make a game winning field goal.

The whole game was listening to penalties, opinions on penalties. I’m not going to keep watching this, hockey is coming. 😀

Bears got called for the exact same situation earlier in the game. It wasn’t a penalty, but it wasn’t a penalty that was called both ways. Lots of flags with this crew today. Holding all over.

I didn't see the whole game but saw somebody else mention that the Bears had a call go against them that was similar. Either way, that's a brutal call in that scenario.

I wouldn't be surprised of Taysom Hill gets the job over Teddy. He's much harder to defend and doesn't have all the rust Teddy has.

Dolphins making mad trades, they have 3 first round picks next year. They will blow chunks this year, and they have Houston and now Pittsburghs first. THEY COULD BE PICKING IN THE TOP 15 3 TIMES! I've now reserved this season for cheering on all teams playing against the steelers and Texans. Jfc, I get to be a Browns fan twice this year.

Maybe, but they are making moves to try and actually build a foundation than rather throw huge lousy contracts at big names only to go 7-9, 8-8, or 9-7. Granted I have no choice in the matter to accept it, I appreciate doing something different rather than spinning their tires again for another 20 years.

Brown spent just 11 days with the organization after he was released by the Oakland Raiders on Sept. 7. He agreed to a one-year deal with the Patriots that day and signed it on Sept. 9. Brown's deal included a $9 million signing bonus, but it wasn't all due at signing, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported. It's unclear how much New England compensated Brown for his short stay in Foxborough.

There was a clause in his contract that included conduct detrimental to the team, the reputation of the team, etc etc. More in-depth than a normal clause. They could end up just paying him for one game.

Edit: Per YahooSports:

Last week, Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson reported that the language in Brown’s contract around his guaranteed money said that if the receiver “takes any action that materially undermines the public’s respect for, or is materially critical of, the Club, the Player’s teammates or the Club’s ownership, coaches, management, operations, or policies” then all guarantees will be null and void.

Listening to Moss on ESPN, he has turned into a pretty solid Commentator.

I could see Gruden completely forgetting he released him and trying to sign him again.

He was sending threatening GROUP texts to his accuser AFTER he signed with NE...I wasn’t on board with the whole mentally unstable thing but this dude is obviously in an extremely self destructive place. Today he’s still tweeting negative $h!t at Big Ben and Robert Kraft and making it sound like this is a racial thing. You’re a locker room cancer in a team game dude....how about you maybe put your phone away for a while...

That said, it might not be this year but there is no doubt that he will draw an NFL paycheck again.

Tucker with the drop kick instead of an onside kick. First time I've ever seen that and wow that could be a thing we see more with skilled kickers.

A NE guy did it a few years ago....actually 4. Nate Ebner in 2015, and Doug Flutie completed a drop kick XP back in 2006, which was the first successful drop kick since 1941.

If the NE one is the one I found a video for, it was a pathetic attempt. Tucker got good height but too much distance.

That I don't know. I knew about the Flutie one, was not aware of the Ebner onside one.

I'd have to say Buffalo. GB/Dal/LAR I think were expected to be pretty good, and not sure on SF, but the way Buffalo has been the last several years, pretty sure they're the surprise, really.

SF and Buffalo are both surprising so far. They won't stay undefeated much longer.

Buffalo will lose this week obviously. SF in two weeks if not this one.

The Packers have done just enough to win their games in all 3, though their ceiling is higher than Buffalo or SF.

I am not loving this MNF announcing crew. I’m pretty sure Keenum knew he wasn’t on the goal line.

NFL fan numbers are down this season. It's going to be a tough year for those venues, given that many teams are as bad as their record and have a near zero chance for post season.

And the game is getting tougher to watch. With the penalties being called like they are a regular play it really changes the enjoyment of watching. If I didn't have a team in the mix I would not be to interested.
