I don’t buy the conspiracy here, when Brown became available for only money (no trade) then BB signed him. BB and Brady have created a culture there that can afford to take chances like this. I would argue that Brown, Mayock and Gruden are all equally to blame for handing the situation poorly. If other teams see it that way also then they could justify making a run at him but he will be missing out on a lot of “guaranteed” money. It isnt like ties happen that often. Since 1974 (when sudden death was put in) there has been 25 ties total out of over 570 OT games.

Could easily be a statistical blip, but, from 2012-2016 (after the last OT rule change), there were 5 ties over 5 full seasons. So far, in one full season plus one week with the 10 minute OT, we've seen 3.

Story came out this morning that the accuser offered him a 2 million dollar settlement and he rejected it. So now she's taking it to civil court (not criminal). She's meeting with the NFL tomorrow IIRC.
