I wouldn’t say misleading. It’s just the way the NHL works similar to the MLB when players debut and are rookies. Top picks will come into the league at 18-19 years old. Others early 20s. That isn't to say he isn't very, very good. But I can see why we wouldn't assume he is the next Con Smythe winner.
The KK situation is more unique because he could have been in the NHL no question earlier it just didn’t work out that way.
