Am I the only one that struggles find the score at the bottom of the screen on Bally Sports? I ignore the ticker and look at the top of the screen.

If you’re looking for the score that’s at the bottom of the screen at the top of the screen, I think we may have figured out the issue

I realize it is at the bottom. I just can't get used to looking there. I'm not liking it.

Grubauer allows 7 goals on 18 shots. 4 of them high glove. Looks like our old friend Dubnyk out there...

EDIT: He came into the game with a 1.83 GAA and a .926 sv%. Talk about an off night.

It is going to be fun when Fiala gets a real mate that can run with him in the next year or two at 5x5.

What is fun about this team, is that they have 5 guys on a one year contract most of which were signed last off season as one year deals or traded for. Usually a team with that type of scenario isn't going to be to competitive.

This was a big time holding pattern type of year, prior to expansion draft and also injecting more youthful talent over the next year or two with Boldy & Rossi.

Would have to be playoffs. That was our last game versus COL in the shortened season.

Gotta be nice for Cam Talbot playing on a team with strong defensive structure & quality D after playing for weak defensive Edmonton teams from years past ☝️Huge punch back game by the Wild tonight 👍

Strange game. Wild came out to a 3-0 lead, and any other time you're thinking they were going to bury their opponent. Except this was Colorado, and again they flipped the script in the second and seriously outplayed MN for most of the period. At one point they put up over 10 shots to the Wild's one. And, even after a 3-0 lead, there were times it felt like Talbot was keeping them in the game.

It looked like another turnaround was coming for Colorado and we'd see a weary, defeated coach at the press conference searching for answers. Until the 3rd period. Everything MN shot at the net went in, and they didn't look back.

It didn't help the team that they kept marching to the box. Colorado's power play is like playing with matches around gasoline. You just don't mess with it.

As for Parise, he should shut his pie hole and just try scoring goals instead. My hunch is that he would see more ice time if he did. :)

Rau had a nice game last night.

I don’t get FSN and I’m not missing the Wild or Twins. I don’t know who the new players are on the Wild and I have no interest in paying the high ticket prices to go see them. I don’t follow them anymore. It’s partly bitterness like when Norm Green moved the North stars. They could be a team in another state. Pretty risky of them to take fans for granted, losing their fan base with this screwed up Sinclair contract, I know I’m not alone.

I thought it had to do with Sinclair/FSN & Providers Dish/Hulu/Sling ect. Where do the Wild come into the play?

More hot takes on the game & current State of the Fragile Wild!

As far as Parise or players in general, can they flat of deny speaking to the media? In this case what was he suppose to say? He's had a proud career and been pretty productive as recent as last year scoring 25 goals. He said its tough, he will play hard in his role and then went out and actually played a real solid game with Rau and Luke Johnson on the 4th line.

Because they should have been able to see into the future to know there would be a problem and find another network to do their coverage, of course.

Khakonen with 9 goals allowed last 2 starts, and as given up 4 already through 1 period tonight. From the sounds of it, his team isn't doing him any favors though. Wild down 4-1 after 1 to the currently out of the playoffs blues.

1-7 now, Kapo can’t stop a 🏖 ball tonight & the D looks totally disinterested too! Just one game, but brutal to watch them play so poorly. That said, Kapo hasn’t made a difficult save tonight, let alone too many saves in total.

Kapo terrible but at this point this $h!t show is his. Talbot is on a rest. Why even get on the plane?

Just when you think the team can claw back and be relevant they drop a bomb like this. Blow outs happen, but 7 goals by mid game on 22 shots?

The Caufield-Boldy watch begins. The little guy had 2 goals and 1 assist in his 1st game. Boldy has 1 G & 1 A thru 2 in his first game.

Holy hell, he gave up all nine? Is that the equivalent to a pitcher staying in all nine innings and giving up 20 earned runs?

I wonder where the Wild sit for largest two-game swing in goal differential. I’d imagine some teams in the 80s are up there.

Talbot needed a game off so this nightmare was all Kappo's. No reason to replace him in an unwinnable game. Team wasn't much help but Kappo was no less terrible than the rest

Worst effort of the year, I'd say.
Best effort last game.
Tomorrow will be indicator of things
The Wild are the same team they've always been. Mediocre.

What a deflating loss. Got stuck with a tired line out there when St. Louis pulled the goalie and couldn't get a clear or a freeze. It seems like the Wild are way too easy to score on when the other team sends their goalie to the bench.

In OT Wild mounted nary a threat and give up a goal on backhanded shot from the circle with 2 seconds left.

They went from redemption back to the toilet in mere minutes.

Tonight's game postponed.

Do all of the Wild's press releases look like they've been folded up and carried around in a pocket of a 12 year old's pants for an hour?

You accidentally graze someone with your stick near their helmet, penalty every time.

You intentionally cross check someone in the back, knocking them down and completely out of the play with the puck nowhere near by, Play-on.

Parise being paired with Sturm works due to what 11 lacks in speed 7 makes up for. Thus the defensive liability of slowness becomes a push. Parise still has a nose for the net.

Sturm has speed, yes, but he plays a similar style to Bonino and Parise. They're all pretty good muckers who like to set up and fight for the puck. This is a pretty good line for Parise.

5-2 win and on the 2nd page?

Not saying he's their #1 magic sauce, but the Wild's record with and without Foligno?
Currently under construction.

Three of those nine wins without him were also games where they were absolutely terrible. Talbot stood on his head. Could have been 6-9-2.

I don't think he hurts the team, that's for sure. Seems to be a good locker room guy.

Despite being outplayed for most of the game and outshot by nearly a two-to-one margin, the Wild score two late goals to put the game away, 4-1, for their 5th straight win.

All the other franchises are going nowhere but the Wild will now have a chance thanks to one Russian kid.

Kirill gets a gold star for the wrap around, but what a center ice play by Zuccarello to stop the puck and then immediately shovel it up to a streaking Kaprisov.

Haha me too. Fiala does that once in awhile for me, too. Both of those guys sometimes take chances to make a play, and if it goes sideways, it can be ugly.

The Wild are doing what they need to do, beat the teams below them. Wonder how Parise will respond after only playing in about 10 minutes last night? Has he really turned into a team player or will the real Parise and his comments show up in the press in the next couple of days?

After two it's Kaprizov 2, Kings 1

His first goal was a thing of beauty. Just ask former UMD defenseman Mikey Anderson.

I know we’ve been looking forward to Kaprisov coming for years but did anyone think he was gonna be THIS good and right from the start?

Wild now up 4-0 after two! Hard to believe they're getting outshot. If that holds it'll be 21 games in a row that they've been outshot. Quality over quantity.
