All we need is the Dutch trumpeter to play “In Heaven There is no Beer” and it will feel like a college hockey game.
Ok, UMD fan.

Just no finishing touch on this USMNT roster. Altidore has a couple cinder blocks attached to his ankles.

Stu Holden cannot for the LIFE of him, throughout this whole tournament, differentiate between "Gyasi" and "Jozy"

US loses to Canada and is in "crisis mode". Aren't they always in crisis mode? lol glad I grew up with other loyalties for soccer as I couldn't handle the added stress on top of being a MN sports fan.

USMNT is back in action on November 12th! Friendly against Wales, 1:45pm.

It will be very interesting to see what the squad looks like. We have a basically unprecedented number of young American players, who are in major roles, at some of the biggest clubs in the world.

Christian Pulisic, 22, Chelsea's #10
Weston McKennie, 22, Getting legit play time for Juventus
Gio Reyna, 17!!, looking like a maestro for Dortmund
Sergiño Dest, 19, Barcelona's first choice right back, just became the first American to play in El Clasico
Tyler Adams, 19, first choice midfielder for Champion contender RB Leipzig

We used to get excited when our players played AGAINST these teams, and now they're playing big roles FOR them.

The US needs to turn the corner to international relevance by WC 22 with that talent

Round of 16 would be a little less than meets expectations and quarters would be exceeds expectations

Looks like USMNT v. Wales is on FS1 today! Excited to see who is in the Starting XI, and to see how they look today.

Too bad Pulisic won't be playing but there's a lot of really good young talent coming up through the ranks

Decent performance. It was a little sloppy at times, and obviously they haven't played together much so there isn't a ton of chemistry. But I really liked what I saw from a lot of the guys out there. I love Dest at RB. Dude has that Barcelona swagger. Really like Reyna on the wing. Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie could be an excellent midfield pair for years to come.

What we were missing tonight was a striker. Apparently Josh Sargent's club did not release him for this international break. A player like him would have helped tonight. As would Pulisic.

Really excited to see the creativity when Pulisic, Reyna, and Dest all get together on the field.

Laying the groundwork for what could be the most charismatic and creative USMNT we've ever had. Gone are the days of the plucky Americans who will try to grind you down. We've got some legit technical talent on this team!

It's been fun watching all of that US talent develop in the Bundesliga. Don't forget Chris Richards. He'll get some playing time at Bayern this season.
