Another new Jersey that you love? No way.

For some reason they look worse for me on the player than off. I might like it more when once seen out in olay.

The Philadelphia 76ers are going to smash together three different eras into one new jersey next season. Yea, that's gonna end up a hot mess...

Just bring back the Dr J jerseys from 1983 and call it a day.

No one will ever mistake me for an Edina hockey booster, but their jerseys, both boys and girls are gorgeous.

Speaking of jerseys, as I was watching that terrible result the other night in Vancouver, I was thinking how stupid it is that the NHL has the home team wearing darks. I would hate it if I was a season ticket holder and missed out on getting to see the other teams darks. For me, they are all "home" games so it doesn't really matter. BTW, the Vancouver darks are :dup: .
President GWB said, "And it seems like Minnesota is pretty good at hockey, too."

"I think in the best interest of his career, he definitely would benefit from playing one more year of college," Gretzky said.

The Pirates are going to use matte helmets in Spring Training. Wonder if the matte trend will make it's way into baseball now.

I haven't really loved them since they got rid of the O on the helmets (around 2010?). The winged helmets are dumb.

Some of their combos are head scratchers, but sometimes they hit on some great combos.

Always, Jr. will be in his 2nd year of travel baseball this summer. I can tell you that almost 64.3% of the travel baseball teams in the southern Chicago suburbs have matte helmets, including his team. Not sure if it's a cost thing or not.

Agreed. Slap some advertising on their asses and you have an European team.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers "updated" their logo this past season and went jumbo size pirate flag on the new helmet complete with chrome facemask. Awful update, awful size, awful helmet color, awful chrome.

Hmmm, I don't think so. If anything, probably just some slight modifications when they switched from Rbk to Nike

Where's the like button? The red is certainly better than the home green.

And the NHL needs to go back to whites at home. Get to see lots of different away jerseys rather than a couple home jerseys for your team, and varying trim on white for the opposition.

This could go in the simple pleasures thread for me...but the birthday present I bought for myself came early...a Hamilton Mustangs #10 Youngblood jersey. :) Can't say I've ever seen someone with one. :)

I have seen a couple over the years. Though not nearly like the Mighty Ducks and Slap Shot jerseys of those characters. I only recall seeing 1 guy wearing a Mystery, Alaska jersey over the years.

Where's the like button? The red is certainly better than the home green.

And the NHL needs to go back to whites at home. Get to see lots of different away jerseys rather than a couple home jerseys for your team, and varying trim on white for the opposition.

I hate the Red/Green/Gold color scheme, one of the worst in sports. Red/Gold or Green/Gold, choose one! Thats why I like the Green Home Jerseys.

I read that the San Diego Padres will be sporting the old brown uniforms (as God intended) on a few occasions this season. :good2:

This graphic designer created alternate helmets for all NFL teams.

Most of them are terrible (especially the Giants one, barf), with giant logos and other such things, but the white ones are actually pretty cool.

Shrink those logos down to regular size, and those would be some pretty sweet helmets.

All will be right again in the universe if the Padres go back to the brown and yellow uniforms on a PERMANENT basis.

Am I the only one that's bothered to see red and green gloves when the 3rd jersey has no red in it?

I saw that .. only really liked the Raiders and Ravens. Most were not improvements. I thought the Vikes was horrible.

The Houston Oilers helmet almost brought tears to my eyes. Bum Phillips, Dan Pastorini, and Earl Campbell...Luv Ya Blue!

Why would you ever take the horns off of a Vikings helmet? It's been like that for 50 flippin' years!

So basically all this guy did was take the team's logo (or alternate logo) on every single helmet, and blow it up to twice the size that it is now. A second grader could have done that.

This is the dilemma that a lot of people who mock up alternate jerseys/uniforms face. Change too much, and people hate it because it's so different. Don't change enough, and people rag on you because the changes are too simplistic. Bottom line, 90% of people will probably hate 90% of what you do

Most of them are not good, there are only a few there that I actually like. But, such is life when people do these mass concepts.

I'd love to see what those white Philadelphia helmets looked like with a normal sized logo and on the green jerseys.

I've ordered from SportsK (.com) before, and have been pleased. Anyone order from prorussianjerseys (.com) before? I'm looking for a Tretiak jersey, preferably with the Cyrillic lettering, and obviously good material. The SportsK ones don't look as quality as the PRJ ones....

Love the helmets, don't like the unis. And nevermind on the jersey question. It was answered in detail by a jersey nerd elsewhere. :)

Those old Pats jerseys are solid. Very solid.

This could go in the unpopular opinions thread, but the "Vancouver Skate" jersey is the best one they ever had. Yeah, I said it:

I agree with you on this. I think most of us love the jerseys we remember seeing as a kid. That's why I love my North Stars jersey.

The North Stars with NO BLACK STRIPES. I didn't like those. I have a Gump jersey. And have a Jon Casey black jersey (when MN had the "new" jerseys just before the move). I never liked the green-gold-black jerseys.
