Berrios/Paxton? That'd be my guess...

Also I'd assume because yankmees we will be the 7:30et game not the 4:00et
Any predictions for games 2 and 3 though? Game 1 is the easy one to guess.
Aaron Boone has said that Paxton might be his only true starter. Might go with bullpen for the other games. I’m guessing he throws out Severino or Sabathia and has a very quick hook in those games.

I bet the Twins go Dobnak in game 2 and leave Odo for game 3 at home.
This is basically my guess too except it might be Tanaka instead of CC given the Twins lineup strength against LHP (even Kepler has really good numbers vs LHP this year).
I forgot about Tanaka. As soon as I dropped him from my fantasy team this year, he was dead to me.

The playoff roster construction will be interesting. Do they keep Gibson and Perez off and go with a couple of relief pitchers instead? I would say Gibson's spot is more in jeopardy than Perez. Rocco has pulled all the right strings this year, and I'm sure he will get this right.

I wouldn't he shocked if Gibby is left off. Bummer for him to have dealt with all the illness he's had to deal with this year. Definitely has had an impact on his effectiveness. I'd be curious to see what his advanced numbers (spin rate, tilt, etc.) looked like this year compared to last year after the e. Coli in spring training and then ulcerative colitis diagnosis.

Yeah, apparently it is hard for batters to see the white ball, so had to change them.

I had to Google "SZN" to figure out what the words on the new Homer Hanky mean.

Either I'm old and out of touch (quite likely), or the Star Tribune is trying too hard with this new design.

What I've seen in past postseasons is that one team takes longer to get to who they were during the year or doesn't at all. The team that is who they were all year first wins this series...

I like getting the yankmees in round 1 over the astros, but you never know

We have as good a chance as anyone to have an incredible month and win it all

I bet most twins fans would say privately that if they just beat the yanks they'd be good with it

Hope arraez plays

I like our chances A LOT to win at least 1 game in NY

The series will hinge on game 1. Berrios needs to take that next step right now. We need high tight fastballs and filthy curves. :D

Kepler did not turn in his pitch like he normally does. He’s obviously not 100%. Arraez limping his way down to first isn’t a good sign either.

I don't think that was an obvious pitch for Kep to turn on and Arraez is obviously healing but better at (90%?) than not in the lineup.
