I am going to my first game in a long time tomorrow. I am pretty excited and the kids are as well as it will be their first game. I have to admit I wasn’t expecting this when my son asked for this for his bday present before the season started.
President GWB said, "And it seems like Minnesota is pretty good at hockey, too."

"I think in the best interest of his career, he definitely would benefit from playing one more year of college," Gretzky said.

I presume the free food and beverage is part of the ticket package?
They have to give you free food to make up for the fact that you can’t see half the field. Yes it’s a part of the package.
Well it seems to be working for Jane, I’d think it hard to see anything well after 8 beers. 😆
You don't know Jane as well as you think you do. ;) There's drunk, and then there's Jane Drunk. He's probably only drunk. :D
I'm still good! Last call in Catch is an hour after last out! Wooohoooo!

Twins Win!!!
Of course, you got a 2:22 game. 😝
Made my beer per inning pace a strenuous one, but I believed in myself, and got it done. 9 innings, 9 Saga pounders.
For the price of the tickets, need to drink enough beer to pay for it all.
Is it just beer...cause...well...I dont drink beer ;)

Ok, here's my report from spring training...went to a few games down here

Buxton will be a superstar
Schoop is really good
We're gonna score some runs
If sano comes back and this lineup is going to be scary big and good
Pineada is a large man on the mound, he can bring it
Berrios looks sharp, more velo this spring
Much more right handed lineup
Bullpen still sucks
85 wins and in the races until final week
This post, on the other hand, looks to be pretty damn right.

Nice ceremony to retire Mauer’s number.

Hope the team can put on a good show for him!

I paid $130 each. But it was a pretty in-demand, Friday night game, on Stubhub.

He allowed 16 runs in 23 innings with 9 HRs and 20 walks.

Remember a few posters that were LIVID that the Twins didn't give him $10 million a year this off-season? 😂

One of my friends has season tix for the Catch area. He says he pays $1,500 for 20 games or $75 a ticket.

I wouldn't mind if the Twins gave Allen a look at this point. He's been terrible, but maybe a change of scenery and some new insights from a different coaching staff will help him out. It isn't like this bullpen is full of untouchable arms.

Also, seems like there has been a big uptick in errors over the last week. Need to keep the defense strong, that has been a big positive until recently.

Nice comeback win. Shouldn't have to come back against that team, but a win is a win. Still the best record in baseball.

IIRC he came out and said in an interview a week or two ago that he made an adjustment after he got hurt and it's been brutal ever since. And now he can't get back to what he was doing pre-injury.

I'll pass on Allen. There's a reason nobody wanted him before and it's being shown by a bad team basically saying "we'll pay you to not play for us anymore". Unless Johnson breaks down his film from afar and says "hey if we can get this changed..." But that's awfully tough to do and I don't want the Twins to lose games trying to figure him out. If he passes through and they can get him to play in Rochester? Sure.

Had a foul ball line drive all to myself and I let it bounce off my hand.

But I saved my kid, so I guess that’s good.

There are only two teams better than 2 wins over .500 against winning teams. By that measure it will be a LA vs. Houston series.

Twins can now win 93 games just by finishing .500.
This team should be a 95-100 win team even with a slump at some point.

He got hit on the hand by a pitch. Nothing broken but sore according to Rocco.

Especially when you're the league's leading hitter.
Yeah didn’t like that at all, especially in the era of the strikeout. Also I know Xander hit a good pitch to right for the double there in the 9th but is it too much to ask the bullpen to get a zero when needed lately? Berrios was great, Twins should have scored in the 8th. Tough pill to swallow not winning when Berrios was so dominate

Once again Sano has no chance against a 97 mph fastball.

This sounds an awful lot like Gopher fans. Win all the games you want, but lose one game and burn the place to the ground.

It isnt just Gopher fans...this town is filled with fans that are always looking for any way not to enjoy the things they do and watch. The goalposts move so fast no team will ever be considered a success.

I am all for changing the expectations as the season goes along but you also have to compare the results with the original expectations. The vocal fans in this town dont do that they just move the expectations up and forget about anything that came before.

For nearly all aspects in life, isn't it common to raise the bar when you meet or exceed goals? If you want to raise $5,000 for a charity in a month, do you stop when you hit that goal after 2 weeks?

If the Twins coast into the playoffs and only to lose in the first series because they didn't improve pitching, wouldn't you be disappointed?

I swear there’s some Murphy’s type law that when I needed to go to bed early there’s extra innings or overtime.

Nice bomb by Kepler to keep it alive!

And agreed on Sano. Just not his night.
