So Cousins has to give his team the lead in the 4th quarter how many times this year in order for them to have a winning record? It wasn't his fault the Vikings had a ridiculous amount of penalties (some good, some bad), he hit Jefferson in the hands for an obvious 1st down, I believe he hit Thielen in the hands or gave him a chance on 3rd down, but Vikings receivers were absolutely blanketed on both 3rd and 4th down on the final drive. Coaching and defense continue to fail this team more than Cousins and it's not even close.

Cousins has actually been very good during this win streak. So has Cook. Too bad they have a defense that can't even throw them a life line once in awhile. At any rate, the whole team sucked during the first half against a crap team, so what does that make them?

Well, they lured me back for one weekend. With a weak schedule, they had a chance to climb back into the playoffs. Of course, they would need to win against a 2-6 team for that to happen.

During the game yesterday they talked about Justin Jefferson and how he wasn't highly recruited. That seemed odd since he played at LSU. I checked Rivals and sure enough, the kid was a 2 star recruit and received only two scholarship offers (LSU and Nicholls State).

Wow. Look at him now!

DJ Wonnum is starting to progress very very quickly. Coming out of college he had an almost identical scouting report to Hunter (elite physical skills but production didn't match). He and Hunter are the same height and probably 10lbs apart in weight. If Wonnum continues to improve, he and Hunter could be huuuuuge problems for opposing teams next year.

I'm less offended by that no call than the deep shot to JJ in the corner in the first half when the CB grabbed his far (left shoulder) and dragged across him while JJ was trying to get back to the ball.

That was a really nice drive for the Vikings. Good to see the team rally around Beebe after the TD too. First TD of his career comes after probably the biggest mistake of his career.

I thought we were going to lose ala Minnesota sports but in the end the Panthers out-mnsportsed us. I only saw the last five minutes of the game but glad I stuck it out!

That game result goes back to my defense of Cousins. He did everything he could in that game to help them win including a GWD with 11 straight completions and 12 of his last 13, only to see the defense nearly give away at the end. And sad too because the defense was by all accounts nearly flawless until that time. So blame that on the coaching, there was another huge special teams blunder and another GWD was nearly given away.

CBS does such better job than Fox for NFL games. The picture is better, the in-game presentation is better, and the pre-game show is far superior.

Jacksonville has averaged losing by 22 points and has an NFL worst -178 point differential. I’m burned out on Zimmer teams playing poorly against bad teams. They’ll probably end up winning this game but if they lost, Zimmer would say in the post game “I tried to tell them to take this team seriously”. Feels like the Vikings are in the same place as the Wild...perpetual borderline playoff team, maybe win once in postseason but never better than that

Some of the worst coaching that I’ve seen in awhile by Vikings. Just Sloooopy football. 1-10 Jags appear way more motivated. But now finally Vikings throw downfield to Jefferson & Ham scores on a nice play.

100% agree that's on Dalvin. Sure looked like a screen pass called and Dalvin didn't even bother to turn around. He almost looks disinterested today. Wonder if his ankle injury is bothering him that much.
