William Fallstrom (remember him?) the next European to leave and play in Europe.

Ranta will certainly be thinking about this option because of the US' total covid f-up.

Man we're distracted. ASU has lost a pair in the last few weeks. Maniscalco signed with the Pens.

Austin Lemieux is also leaving, but oddly not following him to his father's franchise and instead planning on becoming a professional golfer.

Touche, though I am a little surprised that Mario didn't go all Lou Nanne on Austin. May just be because of what we've dealt with here.

There are what looks like real indications Caufield might leave to play in Sweden.

With the coronavirus crap, I think Ranta is still a risk to play at home. The team is practicing again. Does anyone know if Ranta is on campus? If so, that would be a good sign.

BC have/will lose 3 of their big guns so far with Knight, Boldy and Hardman. That leaves Newhook and Helleson as the 2 remaining big fish to sign. They have a couple of others that could go as well.

This isn’t the signing I’ve been expecting, but when you’re a free agent & the iron is hot, it’s a good time to sign, especially when 24 years old. Congrats to Jackson, a very good player for tDogs 👍

Boy, I thought he was a 11th year sophomore.
"Hard work will beat talent, if talent doesn't work hard"
Doug Woog - 1990

This quote was written on the chalkboard in a lockeroom in the old Ralph Engelstad arena my Squirt team used the day after the Gophers used it and came into the game ranked #1 in the nation and lost 6-1 to a second rate Whioux team.

Overhead on SiouxSports.com - Why does every thread always turn into a "Gopher" thread? Is there a secret infatuation with them?

A couple of things. 1. Bet Dan Kelly is going to miss using his whole name when calling Michigan games.. Strauss Mann with a big save... 2. I know they have another goalie who shared time with him down the stretch,(Portillo) but I think is was odd that he waited this long to make a decision and that may hamper Michigan's attempt to replace him. I think all the good portal goalies are gone, but Michigan always finds a way to get a good recruit on their squad. So, no tears shed.

Even his own family calls him Strauss Mann as all one word. Goalies are weird.

Portillo is the replacement for him. He's a fairly high NHL Draft pick(not that that necessarily translates to being good, but he'll get every opportunity as the starter).
