If Shepard and Perunovich and Samberg stay they are preseason favorites again.

From Schlossman article “It is believed that blue liners Scott Perunovich (St. Louis Blues) and Dylan Samberg (Winnipeg Jets) are getting strong pushes to sign NHL deals, but sources believe they're both leaning toward returning at this point.”

I hope Perunovich signs, I don’t see what he has left to prove in college hockey and he’d have good shot to make the team.

Agree he doesn’t, and if I was a Blues fan I’d want him to sign too. But he will get the same offer after next year too and being an undersized player, he might enjoy getting stronger and being with his buddies another yr.

Geez. They had hope because of the injury but wasn't enough.

That leaves only two first rounders coming back to college hockey but a big incoming class.

uw: Miller + Turcotte, Caufield, and 2020 first rounder Holloway
UND: Bernard Docker, maybe Pinto
BU: Zegras, maybe Vlasic
BC: Boldy, Newhook, probably Knight
UM: York
DU: Brink
UMN: Maybe Johnson
UConn: Maybe Firstov
