Is Gumby’s still around in Madison? They were always good for some cheap pizza at 2am when I lived there.

Btw, the Fat Sandwich Co was a place I always wanted to try. It opened right after the last time I was there.
Gumby’s is long gone.

I think we go with Glass Nickel these days. And pizza pairs best with any beer.

Spotted Cow is so overrated.
"Hard work will beat talent, if talent doesn't work hard"
Doug Woog - 1990

This quote was written on the chalkboard in a lockeroom in the old Ralph Engelstad arena my Squirt team used the day after the Gophers used it and came into the game ranked #1 in the nation and lost 6-1 to a second rate Whioux team.

Overhead on SiouxSports.com - Why does every thread always turn into a "Gopher" thread? Is there a secret infatuation with them?

It's a solid beer. But... it's just a solid beer, not even the best from that brewery.

I hope it’s OK that I drank some.

I am more of a Moon Man drinker usually but after some mixed drinks Spitted Cow sounded good and was enjoyed. Again, I hope you guys will forgive me.

And to add to the outrage I’ll admit right now that in my cooler I have both Fulton a Sweet Child of Vine and Miller Genuine Draft.

I eat pizza.... but I need a lot of toppings. None of this cheese pizza crap with no toppings.

I drink the hard stuff.... Whiskey, Vodka, Gin.

Beer just fills me up and that taste is completely overrated.

I can't possibly care whether you drank any or not  And, even if I could, I did say it was a solid beer, so from that perspective, I'd still say it's ok. I just don't personally understand all the people (not necessarily you) that seem to think it's the best beer that exists.

Pretty much just tastes like what I call a "standard beer."

Madison is just a different environment. See Tyler Nanne grabbing a pregame meal at Brats just now...

Many of the Gopher parents were at SSB tonight. Especially heavy on the Edina families, including Nanne.

Glad things cleaned up enough so you could go this year. And, let's be honest, any trip to Madison that results in a Gopher sweep is always good, regardless of how the rest of the weekend goes.
