Braves have lost 10 consecutive rounds in the post season and ties the Cubs ( 1920-1998) for most ever. They Twins have only lost 9 in a row ( 2002-2019). :D
Like the Cubs used to say: "Wait 'til next year"

Re: MLB News

A. They did lose him for nothing. B. They lost their entire season with Zack Littell on the mound.

Re: MLB News

Even more frustrating watching Nick Anderson shut down the Astros out of the bullpen after the Twins gave him away last winter for a prospect that can't hit no matter how far down in the system the Twins keep sending him.

The 7th game was a tough loss.
Played on a Friday night, just in case the Twins advanced to the AL Championship Series. Looked like a decent bet when the Twins went up 1-0 on the Yankees in the ALDS too...

More notes. But I'm sure some will say "Same old pocket protectors"

Still laughing at this. Graterol pitched one inning of garbage time in the series.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014-2020: Here's Your Damn Thread

Poor Rocco, now he knows. Does he? I just heard his post-game press conference on the radio and I'm not even sure if the Twins lost anymore. "I'm so proud of this team. They played so great. I hope they walk out of here with their heads held high" like it was the T-ball team's end-of-season banquet...

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014-2020: Here's Your Damn Thread

New Age baseball be damned. Odo has to go at least five innings tonight, which probably means letting him work through some jams, if the Twins have any hope of winning. The bullpen has no hope of getting more than 12 outs without someone blowing up. Hopefully Rocco's playoff learning curve was just ...

If I wanted to buy tickets to Tuesday’s game through Stubhub or SeatGeek and the Yankees win, would I get my money back? Has anyone had experience with it? I’ve tried searching their website and can’t find much other than they do not offer refunds. http://stubhub.custhelp.com/app/answers/answer_vie...

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014-2020: Here's Your Damn Thread

The other three losses in the streak were to Oakland in 2006, when the Twins were already in the playoffs, but threw a big party on the field at the Metrodome on the last day of the season because they clinched not playing the Yankees in the first round. I feel like the Yankees should get partial cr...

Train better umpires. Don’t just use a robot instead.
Why would you want better umpires if you're only watching to see them get calls wrong?

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014-2020: Here's Your Damn Thread

But if he goes out there and walks the bases full or allows a crooked number, everyone asks why he was allowed to go back out... I'll take Jose Berrios' chances to get those three outs in that situation over Zack Littell's chances every. single. time. If it doesn't work out with Berrios, so be it. ...

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014-2020: Here's Your Damn Thread

Still trying to figure out why Baldelli would bring in a rookie pitcher in as the first guy out of the bullpen. Duffy should have started the inning with the bullpen fully rested in that situation. Then he brings a second rookie in the next inning. You would think that In the playoffs you would use...

1 more they break the record.
Just to be clear: They broke the record for most consecutive postseason losses tonight(14). They tied the record for most consecutive postseason losses to a single opponent(11).
