Re: Gopher Football 2019

Works for me, Simon showed he knows his stuff in the bowl game, so let him learn and grow some more with a guy who I've read is solid in recruiting QBs. Multiple benefits to be had No inside knowledge, but this seems like it might be the best case scenario. Hopefully as co-coordinators they work to...

Breaking news: Vikings sign old ass QB Tom Brady to a 5 year contract, per Vikings' tradition. :D
Can he throw a curve ball? Asking for a friend.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014-2020: Here's Your Damn Thread

More and more it looks like we’re just going to roll with Berrios as our #1. I'd legitimately like to see someone here make a list of all the pitchers they rate above Berrios and point out which ones the Twins should be getting. Because the list is a lot smaller and way less realistic than the "SIG...

Re: Potential Future Recruits - Part II

I heard last night that Ryan Chesley has all but rejected the Gophers already and that STA’s Tyler Grahme is down to Notre Dame or Wisconsin. You heard on Dec 31st that a potential recruit has all but rejected the Gophers before the Gophers had even made 1st contact with the kid? Even if that is tr...

Re: High School Hockey 2019-2020

Blaine honored the 2000 State Champions last night. Was a fun game and cool to see some of the kids who graduated around the same time. Stacked team with like 5 division 1 players. Blaine is an interesting team this year. They definitely have talent to beat great teams, like Maple Grove last night....

Re: Gopher Football 2019

Tyler Johnson was the Outback Bowl MVP. I think a case could easily be made that Tanner Morgan should have been named Co-MVP. Never seen a better performance by a Gopher quarterback. :dup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50w15Az09ps I think Tanner flies under the radar a lot. He doesn’t have a big ...

Perhaps I'm wrong (it DOES happen), but generally we have 1 AFC & 1 NFC game each on Saturday and Sunday. I don't recall both conference games being on the same day before.
Me either. They usually do one of each.
So you two aren’t comfortable with change?

Still can't pass block. Not even trying to get you going. Vikes 7th in rush attack this year and Cousins was one of the least sacked QBs and one of the highest rated. No idea where this Oline ranks in those advanced stats but I would bet it isn’t horrible and i know they aren’t anywhere comparable ...

Re: Home Ownership

In our new house, we are noticing there is excessive condensation around the windows, especially given the colder temps now. Wondering what we can do as it looks like a couple spots have some mold damage on the edge of the wood. I briefly read it may have to do with humidity but not sure. They said...

Re: NCAA hockey 2019-20 season

This is different than normal? The PSU unis usually have the nameplate on the back in the contrasting color, with the letters of the name being the same as the base jersey color. Like the Flyers.... Or the Gophers last night, actually. I assume they used a nameplate to cover the stitched on player ...
