Re: Simple Pleasures...

Going to Delta's system to check prices to plan for a trip in October, and finding that what I thought was a 50% flight credit (cancelled 2020 Frozen 4) that I also thought had expired a month or so ago is actually a 100% credit, and doesn't expire until the end of 2022. Delta extended all credits ...

Re: NHL 2020-21 season

So nice of the NHL to hand Vegas the keys to a great team right away. They certainly deserve it. All those years of suffering had to pay off some day. Vegas got "gifted a team by the league" by some of the terrible GM's of this league like Dale Tallon who gave up Smith so that they would take March...

Re: College Football Talk

8 is more than enough - I would have been ok with 6 to be honest. I don't particularly like 6 in this. Don't like adding a round of byes in. 8 is the right number, and my thought had always been the same as what Gator was saying: Each Power 5 champion, the highest rated non-P5 champion, then 2 at-l...

Re: This might be a dumb question, but...

Anyone else getting golden gopher fund emails EVERY DAY?! If I want to give you money, I know damn well how to find you. Yes. Agree. Definitely. I understand sending an e-mail for a fundraising drive, but one at the beginning, and one a month later when it's wrapping up is more than sufficient remi...

Not a fan of 12. Like 8... the Power 5 Champions and 3 at-large. Giving 1 at large bid to best non power 5 champion and ther other 2 to whomever the committe decides.
Quit talking sense. You're making me agree with you. ;)

Re: Totally Random Trivia

Hint. I don't think Author is the best description for #3. Nor is classifying this person as a "writer for children". I enjoyed daily (hint) until the end and still do. (I cheated, too) Based on those hints, I'd have to guess Charles Schulz Charles Schulz is correct. Another hint, the athlete was n...
