Re: Totally Random Trivia

New Hampshire should define part of their coastline to be the Mandelbrodt set so they can feasibly be the correct answer to both parts of the question. Just a matter of defining a small enough unit of measure, and any coastline is nearly infinitely long, measuring around all those atoms and everyth...

Re: Totally Random Trivia

2. I think would be New Hampshire. What is it, 15 miles? 1 is tricky. Are we to only count the coast on the Atlantic itself? If not Florida wins easily. Edit: I see it says "ocean coastline" now. My guess is Maine. It will depend on which method they're going by, and how they count Florida. Could a...

I have never read a comic in my life and probably never will, but have enjoyed the movies I’ve seen in the MCU. That first Guardians movie is hands down my favourite. The soundtrack is phenomenal.
The soundtracks for GOTG are great.

I’m not a fan of her interpretations, she is overly dramatic and her facial expressions don’t seem to have anything to do with what is being said. I have a very dear deaf friend, I know some ASL but mostly have to finger spell. One aspect of signing is conveying the original “mood”. The press confe...

Non-political political question. I just read an article about the sign language interpreter that is working Tim Walz's press conferences. The article mentions that she herself is deaf. How is it she can interpret what she is saying if she can't hear it herself? I get that some of it might be scrip...

I would think any city would fight hard to keep this trial from coming to them.
If it actually goes to trial, just from a security perspective, I'm not sure where other than Minneapolis or St Paul they could handle this.

Re: NCAA hockey 2019-20 season

Looks like they pulled it off, and have at least one more year at UAH.: https://www.al.com/news/2020/05/uah-announces-hockey-will-return-after-private-funds-raised-to-support-program.html No clue how likely it is for the program to continue very far into the future, but, they'll be there next season.

Re: Let's get to know each other...

I forgot about Super Chexx bubble hockey. Before my friends and I could drive we'd take our mopeds to Ridgedale and hit up Orange Droolius, Taco Bell, Musicland, Spencer Gifts and Picadilly Circus and Super Chexx dominated our time in the arcade. One house in Kato I lived in for 2 years (named The ...
