Anyone else make it out to the River Inn in Hanover? Two "major" problems: 1. The referees today call those borderline "hits to the head" nearly every time, and they have video replay to support their initial call. Very few are overturned. 2. The resultant 5 minute major penalty is very steep, especially when playing a skilled team that can take full ...

Re: Women's hockey

God what a gut shot to UMD. Player gets tripped trying to carry the puck out of the defensive zone, then NE gets the puck back and scores on a deflection. The referee's definitely missed an obvious trip in the defensive zone, and it cost UMD the game and a chance to move on. I'm not one to normally...

Re: 2020-2021 Gopher Hockey Season Thread - Year 100 of Pride On Ice

I also received an email confirming my option to have last year's pricing (and payment) applied to this year's season's tickets, and parking, both of which will apparently remain the same. So I'm all paid up for 2021-22. :)

Re: Women's hockey

Does it make me feel better about the Gophers being put on their heels and into slow motion by the Buckeyes on a regular basis? No, it does ...

Re: BigTen Tournament Thread

I absolutely love hearing those post-game comments from Coach Motzko on Faber playing tonight. I truly didn't think there was a chance he was going to play until the NCAA tournament at the earliest. Even Bob was saying, in so many words, no chance he was going to play in his post-game comments afte...
