Hmm, that is odd. Just wondering, would it be fair to say that games at Xcel could be thought of as "neutral site"? Not technically a home game, but no travel/hotel is required, and the majority of the fans in attendance were cheering for the good guys?

There were 19 home games last year and there should be a minimum of 18 next year. I'd expect 20, but we'll see. When I first retired I adhered to my work schedule, which was a pretty rigid 10:30pm to bed to 6:00am out of bed. Now, 10 years later, it's "whenever I'm sleepy" to "whenever I'm no longer sleepy" (except golf mornings two days a week, when I revert to my former work schedule).

Works for me!

I went to Costco earlier today and the increase of shoppers wearing face mask protection was very noticeable, compared to a week ago. I would estimate at least a quarter of those shopping had them on, but ironically none of the employees working the cash registers were wearing them(?) So my question...

There is absolutely nothing going on in the sports world now. But every local newscast still has news weather and sports. At 20 past the hour they say "now lets toss it over to Joe Blow, who has nothing meaningful to talk about, for sports." Trades, draft and signing info mostly dominates the sport...

I actually attended the first ever Hobey ceremony at the old Decathlon Club in Bloomington. From what I remember there was nothing fancy about it, but I was in love with Gopher hockey and was in awe of the whole thing.

The best advice I've heard is if you can't do take-out/delivery (or don't feel like having that product at this particular time), buy gift cards for future use , to keep that business' cash flow going. Somewhat risky because if the business doesn't survive their gift cards will be worthless. Better...

We just got back from Cub and there wasn’t a potato or onion to be had. Onions?? I mean, garlic I understand, need to keep the vampires away. Kwik Trip sells fresh single potatoes and onions (along with bananas) for 39 cents a pound. Just bought some yesterday. Eggs at $1.29/dozen are always a good...

I have a list of stuff I’d hoard way before TP...chocolate, French Vanilla coffee creamer, bacon. The first two must be a female thing, but both wife and I really love their Kirkland thick bacon. I am the 'designated Costco shopper' (expert, I might add) in the family and always pay close attention...

Since everything else is cancelled I was REALLY looking forward to watching both The Players and The Masters tournaments. I was hoping professional golf would be one sport that would hopefully survive the chopping block, especially if they restricted everyone other than caddies, the production crew ...
