Re: High School Hockey 2019-2020

All I’m cheering for every game (My Alma Mater aside) is for it to be close/overtime. That’s what makes this tournament phenomenal. Still baffles me that 18,000 plus show up for HS hockey!

Just got an email from YouTube TV that they will no longer be carrying the Fox Regional Sports networks. Unreal.

Bob McKenzie has said it’s likely at this point Thornton comes back next year. He may go to a different team that has a chance to win.

I just love to see plucky teams like Edina win! St. Thomas too. Pretty much the exact opposite of Bonin.

Cadets move on! Rosemount will probably thrash them tho. Still it’s nice to see the plucky Mendota Heights school do well.

Re: Motorsport

I watched recently a replay of Dale Sr’s fatal crash and I couldn’t believe it. Compared to some NASCAR crashes that I’ve seen on TV (clips..I don’t really have any interest in NASCAR) it seemed so minor. I mean the car hit the wall hard but you see some of those vehicles get tossed all over the pla...

Re: NFL NEWS

Brady is a great QB given his age. Few QBs play into their 40's and fewer have a SB ring at in their 40's. Brady is just not as good as he was nor is he as elite as some of the younger talent. But, still, I wouldn't sign anywhere else either since I'm not being forced out, but I understand it's har...

Re: NFL NEWS

I think this year exposed Brady’s lack of talent at receiver. The past 8 years he had Gronk and Julian. With Gronk retired teams just doubled Julian especially on 3rd down. Their whole offense is designed around quick throws including their lineman/running backs/ etc. So with horrible receivers othe...

Re: NCAA hockey 2019-20 season

That can't bode well for the Alaska programs and the Huntsville program. Are any other schools left out? Huntsville announced last year that they were leaving the conference as well. The two Alaska schools are the only ones remaining in the WCHA. Has Huntsville declared a destination? Atlantic hock...

Re: 2019-2020 Wild Season

I looked and we don't have a third round draft pick this year. We traded it to Nashville for their 3rd last season. With that pick, we chose Adam Beckman. He is currently the leading scorer in the WHL and plays Center for the Spokane Chiefs. He could be someone to keep an eye on. WHL success obviou...
