Not a fan of what is pretty close to a 2 round drop. Likely high 2 round pick for a very likely low third round pick. But on the other hand Ngakoue was probably going to depart after this season so getting something back for him is better than nothing.

Vikings are playing like they're trying to get Zimmer fired. Not thinking Zimmer is going to be fired regardless of how bad this season ends up, considering he just signed a three year contract extension. I don’t think that would save his job. That money is a drop in the bucket for an NFL team.

Correct. The answer I was looking for was 2 drummers.
I believe the Doobie Brothers had two drummers as well
The Grateful Dead had two drummers as well. Or maybe I was just seeing double.

Re: Coronavirus discussion

My family decided on Saturday to pack up the car and drive to the beach and quarantine ourselves in the warm sun (FL panhandle). And as we sit on this porch drinking cocktails the radio station we are listening to is ABSOLUTELY KILLING IT. Great tune after great tune From country hits to 80s to gru...

Being replaced by Brian Zepp? Didn’t Barnard fire him a few years ago?

Dude should be in the NHL, if nothing else replace Don Cherry.
The dog would be a huge upgrade over Cherry.

Re: Michigan vs #18 Gophers Feb 28 & 29

They played good hockey the past two weekends, but sometimes things don't go your way. Motzko was very unhappy with their intensity level and play yesterday. He said something to the effect that "Too many of our guys took the night off." I agree with Bob. With everything the team had on the line la...

Re: Gopher Basketball 2014-2019: The Quest for the Quint

I initially hated the Pitino hire. Both the choice and how it was made. The first few seasons confirmed my initial feeling. Then I felt like he was actually learning on the job, figuring some things out, and with some patience maybe he could turn into a decent coach for this program. The way this se...

Re: Gopher Basketball 2014-2019: The Quest for the Quint

If the team's current troubles continue, and they do not make the NCAA tournament, what are the odds Pitino is their coach next season? To me it depends on who is available and willing to take the job. If Coyle identifies someone who he thinks is better and will take the job, he will make a move. I...

Re: Gophers @ Notre Dame 2/14-15

I’m having a hard time figuring out what we are even trying to do on the power play. I’m becoming more and more baffled by the Stucker on the point strategy at this point in the season. Bob is seeing something there that I just am not.

Name puck watching. Cover your man!
As much as I like to rag on Nanne, don’t think he expected LaFontaine to direct the puck directly to the Irish guy’s stick. He should have an assist on that goal.

Love sweeping Becky, especially on the road. And watching the supposed super coach completely lose his composure on Friday night was awesome. Amazing to see the level of improvement from first half to second half. Really glad to see Brodzinski get it going. He looked completely overmatched ear...

Re: Gophers vs Buckeyes Jan 24-25

What a difference the band and a student section makes. I was surprised at the student turnout. They added a lot of much needed energy in the building. Ranta is by far the best Gopher player this year. I don't know if it started out that way, in terms of Ranta being the best player, but the kid has...
