Really liking this team. Obvious today they were missing the D who are at the WJC. But still find a way to win. I get that ASU is not a good team but I take it as a good sign when a team can be far from their best and still win by 3.

In 7 seasons Zimmer will have made the playoffs 3 times with 2 playoff wins, one of which they should have lost. If we want to race to the bottom, the Bears have made the playoffs once since 2010. Vikings are playing like they're trying to get Zimmer fired. Not thinking Zimmer is going to be fired regardless of how bad this season ends up, considering he just signed a three year contract extension. I don’t think that would save his job. That money is a drop in the bucket for an NFL team.

Re: Got Beer?

Surly is apparently cleaning out their cellar, releasing old Darkness bottles to stores. Picked up a 2012 today ($25) which I'll probably solo-dome tonight, I've seen mostly 2015-2017 in the stores so far. This was the first 2012 I have seen. 2012 still remains as one of the best years. Holy crap, ...

There is zero chance I would get on a plane right now or in the foreseeable future.

Re: Restaurant

If you want really traditional and good mexican in the Twin Cities, it's pretty much Lake Street in Minneapolis. West St Paul/The West side of St. Paul has some hidden spots, and I say this as a WSP resident, it can't hold a candle to some of those hole in the wall places on Lake Street. One great ...

Going to be quite awhile before I do dine in at a restaurant or drink at a taproom. Not worth it to me.

Certainly can't disagree with that attitude. There's like 3 different versions of how to handle a tie out there right now, it's ridiculous. I know I’m old but I was fine with when a game ended up tied we called it a tie and moved on. Give it the 5-10 minute 5x5 Sudden Death OT, but otherwise, that'...

So far no surprises, no trades, and no glitches. Pretty ho hum.
Vikings will have network connectivity issues and miss on a pick like they did back whenever.
Are you talking about the year they drafted Kevin Williams?

My brother and I had a paper route when I was a little kid, then I did Trail Blazers in junior high. First real job was working in the maintenance department at Powers department store at the Northtown Mall when I was 16. I think I made $3.35 per hour.

What is your favorite vacation? One time trip you made? An annual spot? Not a dream trip, something you’ve actually taken. Mine is Italy. I LOVE Italy, all of it. The food, the wine, the sites, the people. Been to Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence and the Dolomite region. I want to move to Italy for at...

That Taffe hit may have been a 5 in todays game.
Zero doubt that was a five today. I’ve watched highlights a lot, but been a long time since I’ve watched the entire game. Wow, did that bring back some great memories. 👍

Love reading, so close to impossible to choose one book. Guess if I had to I’d say The Big Sleep.
