Re: Home Ownership

I’ve always heard that Standard Water is the best, they’re still really booked out after the bonkers spring I've heard the same thing. Call them and get in their list. I'm assuming you replaced the sump by now? Yes a we replaced the Sump right away because we had so much water after one of the earl...

Re: Home Ownership

Can anyone recommend a professional basement waterproofing company? Our sump failed a couple months ago and we’ve noticed water coming in from under the house in a spot. We want to get the remodel going but obviously can’t until we figure out how to fix the water

So here’s an even dumber question.

When Lindor hits a home run does he do the truffle shuffle?

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014-2020: Here's Your Damn Thread

They have 15 relief pitchers on the roster. They should be able to make it work since they got through the game earlier only using 5 of them. I'm assuming Thorpe or Dobnak pitch 2-3 innings like Smeltzer did and they go from there. Winning the first game is huge though. They're 3 up in the loss colu...

Walking into the Armstrong football game tonight the national anthem started before I got in. Saw about 30 people just keep walking as if nothing was happening.

If you can hear the anthem then stop and pay your respects

Re: 18th Anniversary: Never Forget

For some reason I had my TV set to come on as my alarm that morning. I rarely did that. I got up and looked at the tv, still half asleep as I walked past as the second plane hit, wondering why they were showing a movie on the local news channel at that time of the morning. It wasn’t until I came ba...

Re: 18th Anniversary: Never Forget

I had landed in Houston the night before. I was supposed to have 3 job interviews that week and be in 4 different cities over 6 days. I made it back home to Colorado Springs a week later and barely made my friend’s wedding in the 15th here in the Cities. The job interview in Houston was by far the w...

Re: Movies

Late to the earlier mentioned Star Wars trailer comments. I signed up for Disney's streaming service just for The Mandalorian. I think it was $150 for year years for D23 members. With a 9 and 1 year old plus that we'll easily get $150 worth out of it since we won't need to buy digital copies of the ...

This could go in many threads, but since it relates to the Twins, I will pop it here. I wish LaVelle E Neal III would be more active on twitter with info. I guess I'm spoiled with Russo and his use of social media, but it seems I have to follow about 5 guys on twitter to get any Twins info. He hasn...

Who cares. He's rooting for his nephews team. If my nephew played for Michigan, I would still root for Minnesota, but I would root for Michigan in all other games. The real test would come if your nephew played for WisconSIN. My niece went to the red school to the east. I boo her whenever sh...

Re: Travel

I'm curious what a Monday morning at 8am will be like though. I'm doing that trip in 3 weeks and Monday's usually the worst time for long lines. With the skyway checkpoint closed that will make it even worse for Precheck since it seems 60% of the people using that checkpoint are Precheck.
