Re: Got Beer?

Lupulin’s Smoked Porter is very very good. Never thought I’d find another I like as much as Alaskan’s Alaskan's is amazing. I'm sure you tried the ones that were 15-20 yrs old at ABR. That was a come to Jesus moment, relatively. They know their smoked beers. I think the oldest I’ve had is 2008, but...

Re: Gophers -- Other Sports

It’s another “Minnesota Day” on big ten network, mostly your usual staples except tonight they have two games I haven’t seen since they were live. The 2004 music city bowl in which we beat effing Alabama, Marion Barber was unstoppable. And shockingly, they are actually airing a game from the 97 bas...

Re: Things That Stick In Your Craw

On those rare times I go inside to pay for gas instead of pay at the pump, the person in front of me in line is always buying and cashing in lots of lottery tickets. #firstworldproblem I hear ya, but I always go inside to pay for gas, because I almost guarantee I have other things to buy at the tim...

Re: Totally Random Trivia

Stumbled upon an interesting tidbit, maybe it's been posted here before? What was the last motion picture from a major studio to be released for home video on Betamax video cassette format? I knew this answer once...but have since forgotten It's not impossible. ;) What's incredible about this is th...

Re: Got Beer?

Surly is apparently cleaning out their cellar, releasing old Darkness bottles to stores. Picked up a 2012 today ($25) which I'll probably solo-dome tonight, I've seen mostly 2015-2017 in the stores so far. This was the first 2012 I have seen. 2012 still remains as one of the best years. Holy crap, ...

Re: WEATHERMANIA

Last fall, I finally got around to having one of those gutter companies (Leaf Filter) install their gutter protection system. I'm at the age where I hate climbing up the ladder and cleaning out that gunky mess. We'll see how well it works in the fall... Hopefully yours works better than mine. Almos...

Re: Consumer Research

Had a few issues with setup but I think I had some cabling wrong based on the old and then everything seemed to work after the firmware update On a good day with the old network my speed test would show 38Mbps. First time I ran it on the new setup it was 208 both on my phone and o...
