Is that the last game that Dubnyk plays for the Wild?
JFC I hope so. This game doesn't even go to OT if the Wild had league-average goal tending. The second and third goals that he gave up were embarrassing.

Fiala has an insanely quick wrist shot.

Re: B1G 1st Round vs Notre Dame

Reffing was pretty awful tonight. From the first call against McLaughlin for lifting a stick to the 5-min major against ND. Jackson was livid his team get 5 minutes for the boarding call against Sorenson, but that was the correct call. He just wanted an even-up call. They scored anyway so it's no bi...

Re: B1G 1st Round vs Notre Dame

I was surprised by the result tonight. Somehow the Gophers figured out how to create a little offense. There wasn't a lot of space out there for either side all weekend, but nice to see a couple guys score last night who almost never score and tonight their skill guys got it done. I have zero confid...

Re: Committed Recruits Update Thread

Miller was a stand out in the tourney, and I think he'll be a really good player for MN.

Not sure how I feel about the Middlestadt brothers....Luke has a great tool set but it seems like his skating is lacking. Hoping the older brother isn't another Ryan Reilly type.

Re: High School Hockey 2019-2020

HM may have been the dark horse, but they outplayed three pretty good opponents, in addition to beating a good team to get to St. Paul. They earned the title.

Re: B1G 1st Round vs Notre Dame

An ugly win is a win. Notre Dame seems hell bent on focusing on defense this weekend. Fully expected ND to come out in the third and sew it up so they could catch a plane first thing in the morning.

How many here had Munsondorf for the goals tonight?

Re: High School Hockey 2019-2020

Soooo many times goals come as the result of players watching the puck. #19 on Hermantown watched the Mahtomedi captain skate right next to him but never even attempted to tie him up. There were four Hermantown players coasting to the front of their net when the puck went in.

Re: B1G 1st Round vs Notre Dame

Curious for the pulse of the fanbase on here...do you expect next season to be drastically different? Do you expect an NCAA appearance? This season isn’t over!! Does everyone really think we don’t stand a chance tonight?! There is a chance they win tonight, and there's less of a chance they win two...

Re: B1G 1st Round vs Notre Dame

Played terrible, can’t believe how we struggled to break puck out. Still had chances to win game if we could bury anything. Morris made some good save, but we need to finish better. Reedy gets that one-timer in top 3rd of net and Morris has 0 chance. Rebound he put off the post also. Hope Perbix is...

Re: B1G 1st Round vs Notre Dame

Ranta was on a nice little surge there for awhile, but I see he's fallen back into his cement-head hockey play. He can skate, he can shoot, he can play physical. But can he play hockey? I had the game last night on the DVR and viewed it at 2x speed. That helped a little. What can you say about a tea...

9-0 OSU, game is still going.

Edit: 9-1.
Too many 1st rounders for the BADgers for them to decide who should score
That would be funny if the BADgers cross state rival to the West were any better.

Re: B1G 1st Round vs Notre Dame

Twice tonight I have deleted my post saying if Lucia was behind the bench tonight there would be verbal pitchforks and torches all over the board. My wife would say we just saw a typical Motzko playoff team. I started my post and came back to it later only to see you scooped me on the "motzko playo...

Re: B1G 1st Round vs Notre Dame

Welcome to Motzko playoff hockey! This team is determined to finish how it started. Glad I saved that 15 bucks and stayed home. I love the way the announcers unwittingly laud them for being soft by marveling at how they're the least penalized team in hockey. Um, yeah, we already know they're pushove...

Re: High School Hockey 2019-2020

St. Thomas has goal tending. Most teams lose to Andover last night.

The Andover goalie gave up the GWG on an extremely stoppable shot....if the goalie firms up against the pipe, that puck can't go in.

#15 on STA can flat out fly.
