No, his year long ban was for DUI. He only missed 2 games due to suspension for his prior offense. His problems are due to being on the NFL repeat offender list, not for recreational use.

My wife is a nurse. The order to allow liquor stores open isn't to keep drinkers happy, it's to keep detoxing alcoholics out of the ER's. Yes, this is a serious concern for hospitals.
