I enjoyed La Pineda (sp?) in Plymouth but cannot attest if it's held up in the past 6 years since I was there last. I have heard of it, will check it out. Pineda off of Shelard Parkway? Been there several times for lunch. Always busy (at least during lunch). Worth a visit if you've never been.

Ridges is one of my favorite courses in the Southwest Metro. It sort plays like two different style courses with the upper holes more links style and the lower holes more north woods feel with Sand Creek winding through several holes.

As long as the leaves aren't TOO deep I just keep using the lawn mower to mulch them in. Free fertilizer! I have too many trees to do that. Has anyone flown into or out of Ontario (CA) International? It's much closer to where I need to be than LAX is, but it's also a lot more expensive to fly into, has no non-stop options, and has far fewer flight choices than LAX. Is not having to drive 50 miles inland thru L.A. traffic worth the trad...
