Re: Things That Stick In Your Craw

How I seem to get into minor disagreements daily with my housemates about living in this Covid-19 world in regards to the Governor's actions. I don't think I have a real big anxiety problem but if there is something that gives me anxiety, especially right now, is when some one misinterprets or over...

Re: Simple Pleasures...

Yesterday I ordered a 6'x8' wrestling mat for home. I found a company that sells their defects at a discount. That will help my wife so she can do her Farrell's workout each day at home with some comfort. It will also allow me to kick my son's ass on the mat everyday....look at me the big talker rig...

Re: Coronavirus discussion

I would think the main change is that it gives the police more leeway to enforce distancing. I think that is exactly what these orders are meant to do. I read the Executive Order. Maybe I missed it because my eyes glazed over after a while, but I don't see anything in there about police being able ...

Re: Coronavirus discussion

Here is the link to the complete order: Governor Order So it's just a continuation of what we've been doing. Nothing more restrictive just with some legal recourse if you get caught breaking CDC gathering guidelines. Work from home if you can or practice physical distancing if you work outside your ...

Re: Coronavirus discussion

I would think the main change is that it gives the police more leeway to enforce distancing. I’ve noticed in Wisconsin that there has been a dip in the amount of people I see out since Monday, as if the order kinda gives people a “this $h!t is serious” realization. I think that is exactly what thes...

Re: Coronavirus discussion

Thoughtful, well laid out, facts and numbers to back up decision making, and calm in its delivery. I look forward to reading the details of this order. It doesn't sound like it is much different from what we are doing right now, just an extension of current orders and asking to be ever vigilant or s...

Re: Coronavirus discussion

Has anyone else read the "Safer at Home" order that Wisconsin enacted? Honestly, it isn't that more restrictive than what we are experiencing now. The big thing that makes it different is that if you are caught breaking one of the rules, it is now enforceable by law and you can be fined and/or jaile...

Re: Coronavirus discussion

I guess my son just about walked behind my wife who was on a video conference this morning. He just got out of the shower and per usual was on his way up to his room with only a towel around him. My daughter caught him before he was the star of the show and threw some clothes to him. My wife's co-wo...

Re: Coronavirus discussion

Has anyone here watched the Governor's press conferences on Fox9's Facebook page? And then read the Facebook comments during it? I'm glad I'm physically distancing from most of these people! :ahhh:

This isn't good news.
I believe Osterholm and Fauci both have said this is what is going to happen, a roller coaster not just one wave.

Re: Coronavirus discussion

One thing Walz said about shelter in place and essential businesses was that businesses that keep your furnace running or your water running are essential. There are a lot of businesses that provide services like that that would be essential. He even mentioned mechanics to keep trucks going down the...
