To me I put John Wayne in the same group as Stallone and Willis, they have their niche and they do it well and rarely venture out of that. I agree with SkiUMahLaw that the legal hurdles for these two teams or any DI team to play outside of their conference after it has been postponed would be huge. I don't see any school spending that much money to try to circumv...

Re: Things That Stick In Your Craw
My wife had a name for our GMC Envoy..."The Batmobile". For some reason she left the windows down partly on night while she was waitressing. She got in the car after work around midnight she figured out a bat got in the car. She said that she bailed out and almost didn't take the care out of drive! ...

Re: College Football Talk
I think it can be safely said that schools have had their way with the student-athletes for a long long time, so I'm very glad to see the students get some say in how they are handled and marketed by the schools. Now in regards to Covid and playing though...I really think they are going to have a mu...

Kwik Trip is the gold standard. As if Super America actually evolved since 1990. Within the city limits of Superior, WI (Pop < 30,000) there are seven (7) Kwik Trip gas station/store locations ☝️🤠 The Mankato/North Mankato area (Pop approx. 52,000) there are eight Kwik Trips here. Currently they ar...

Re: College Football Talk
I just read that DII followed the DIII and cancelled all fall sports championships and won't be made up in the spring as well. So the NSIC football conference will only play the eight scheduled conference games. My guess is you'll see the NSIC cancel too. They'll want the tuition revenue but avoid ...

Re: College Football Talk
NCAA Division III has cancelled all fall sports championships for 2020, some DIII conferences have already cancelled their seasons anyway. From what I can tell, canceled really means canceled. No D3 football championship in the spring. Let's enjoy the NHL playoffs, MLB for now, and racing because t...

Re: Minnesota High School Athletics (Non-Hockey)
The MSHSL board only voted on moving volleyball and football, didn't sound like they even broached the subject of moving spring sports. I understand the concerns which mirror those of having in person schooling this fall, but I am upset that many kids will have to choose between one thing or another...
