Re: Consumer Research

Random, but our rental needs a new dishwasher... Any recommendations on an inexpensive option or models to avoid? Should I just get a. Big box stores or any local spots? Home Depot has their Red, White & Blue sake going on right now. Similar to the Black Friday appliance sales, prices are up to 40%...

Oh, well here's an option...
My kid has a signed stick from him when he played for the Force. Our whole team got to meet him that year as his family was a friend of one of the kids family on our team that year.

Re: Things That Stick In Your Craw

I probably won't get much sympathy posting this on a hockey board. :) I'm coaching an 11U baseball team this summer. We started practice in January. Practices were suspended in mid-March because of Covid, and now we started up again a few weeks ago. When we were practicing in Jan/Feb, we made it cl...

Can’t we just ban people for a day or two who violate the posting rules instead of locking the thread? There are only a handful of topics I look at on here and because a handful of dummies can’t follow the rules, I don’t get to waste as much of my workday as I would like on here...

Re: Video Games

I was always a Sony guy (all electronics) but when it came time to get a system for my kids, and by “kids” I mean myself too, I went with Xbox due to the NHL games and my best friend works for Microsoft and get stuff for it dirt cheap. That being said, I would consider going back to Sony ONLY becau...

Re: Youth Hockey

I'm looking for insight as to what's going to happen with the AAA tournaments in the cities. Will the Minnesota Made Stars and Stripes tourney happen July 25th? My sons playing on a Fargo based team and they're looking for something else based on rumors of AAA tournaments not happening in Minnesota...

Re: Things That Stick In Your Craw

Just bought this one this weekend at the local hardware store. Was able to add the vent to my 6gallon can that I use to fill the pontoon. Fastest I have ever drained the can! I will be getting another one for my 5gallon one now. https://www.amazon.com/EZ-POUR-40051-Replacement-Spout-White/dp/B00YP3Y...

Re: Simple Pleasures...

Been at Home Depot for 20 years coming up in January. My first job out of college. I still remember opening the Bemidji store and I was the only one in the Hardware dept with good handwriting so I had to make all the wingstack signs and we had a family night the night before grand opening and I walk...

Re: This might be a dumb question, but...

For you handy types...are hand held power jig saws much of a thing anymore? I was just at Home Depot looking for blades for my Bosch and there were hardly any. The ones they had were all on clearance Yes they are a thing, at least the blades are because you can get a jigsaw head for the multi-tools...

When I was a kid, Lucille by Kenny Rogers was, “You picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel, with 400 children and a crop in the field”. I just assumed it was a farming song when the guy lost a tractor wheel during harvest. Also, this is a pretty good one: [media] https://youtu.be/7my5baoCVv8[/me...
