I think the Gopher have thrown more checks this weekend than they did the last 5 years Lucia was the coach.
Been fun to watch!

Re: Committed Recruits Update Thread

Any recent insight on Noah Tussey? Social media still says committed, haven’t been impressed with him when I have seen him play, doesn’t compete real hard. Seems like many guys have passed him by in last year. Sounds pretty familiar. When did he commit? He was a Scott Bell commit in 2017. Was also ...

That could be fun.... “Let’s Go Fish!”
I hope he’s not a crappie player.
If so the Gophers will continue to flounder.
He'll help the Gophers get back on their perch.

Re: Committed Recruits Update Thread

Curious if it indicates Rossini is out after this year. Faber/Koster/Fish in with Nanne/Zuhlsdorf/Rossini out. Fish looking like a depth add.

Joey Miller 2.0, the key to our success ;)
I recall during the down years in the Lucia tenure, there was a poster convinced moving Joe Miller to the first line was a tonic for our ails. Really the heyday of the forum.

Three primary assists for Lucius tonight. Balancing out those G/A numbers a bit lately.

Cool to see Perbix receive constructive criticism and use it positively. Should he be a Gopher, you'd figure two years in the USHL; could be a solid add.

It could be more about his decision on which sport to play. If he gets drafted.....he should be a Gopher.
That is kind of the vibe I get. Waiting to see which football offers roll in before he makes his final decision.

Re: Committed Recruits Update Thread

Some of the Gopher recruits in the USHL stats Knies with 26 points in 28 games now. Jensen with goals in back to back games. Still with only 3 goals this year. 11 points in 24 games Pitlick with 21 points in 27 games. Koster with 12 points in 21 games Pinoniemi with 7 points in 26 games Nevers with...

Re: Committed Recruits Update Thread

Woukd have to imagine Knies is part of the 2021 class. Strong start as a 17 year old; will have two years in USHL and is more physically developed than most of his peers. Broz may press the issue, and despite a sluggish year, Pinoniemi will have two full USHL seasons at the time. Going to be interes...

Heard that it’s likely Huglen won’t play at all this year.
Really unfortunate. Back injury, too, which are always tricky. Curious how this impacts the 2020 forward class.
