Re: Early Departures ( non Gophers )

Seem like a slam dunk that Tyochnick ends up at UMD, plenty of opportunity to play, and track record of developing D-men.

Regardless of where Knies plays I think he’s gonna rise up draft boards quick. If he can gain a little explosiveness I could see him going near or even above Lucius.

Re: Committed Recruits Update Thread

Similar production to Shane Pinto last year. I don’t think he would tear it up next year, but could contribute. He is huge, has great hand/puck protection, and shot. I think ushl would probably be best for him, but could see him having a Dylan Holloway type freshman year if he came in

Re: Committed Recruits Update Thread

I could see Knies coming in next year. I would imagine he will be a higher round pick (playing college may hurt draft stock vs putting up huge numbers in USHL) Motzko does talk about getting older, but he did bring Poehling and Brinkman early. I think Pitlick is still next best guy to come in. I thi...

BC gonna be good for sure, they do lose a ton of seniors and most their D Corp with only 1-2 d-man lined up to come in. Imagine they’re full force on Tyochnick and any other D in portal.

Re: Committed Recruits Update Thread

Another ranking. Faber at 53. Highest I have seen Cole Hansen at #99, don’t think he’s even in Central Scouting rankings. Thought Ratzlaff would be higher, haven’t seen him play a ton, just based on how people talk about his size and athleticism. https://www.thedraftanalyst.com/2020-nhl-draft/2020-n...

Re: Committed Recruits Update Thread

I heard his dad was pushing for him to go to college next year...if that’s the case shocked he didn’t at-least play juniors before and after season. Even NAHL if he wanted to be closer to him. Buffalo season will end early so see what he does then.

Agree, nice to see us hang in there and get a win. We fumble a lot of passes, or don’t go tape to tape, ruins flow of game. Also went offsides 3x in first 5 minutes of 3rd, frustrating!

Re: @ Michigan State 1/10-11

We have followed up Friday flops with good Saturday effort, although it hasn’t translated to wins. Tonight we need to play better and find a way to win.

Re: @ Michigan State 1/10-11

For next year, let Ben Gordon walk, get an experienced assistant. If you can find them, then get Paul Martin.

Find a recruit that can push McManus down in line-up, he is so soft!
