Re: WEATHERMANIA

Bloomington. One of the scariest storms I can remember in my life right now. Weird storm. Usually they track east, so I was preparing to get hit in Woodbury, but it never really made it here. It just kind of stalled out over Bloomington/Richfield/Edina. I only got about a half inch of rain last nig...

Re: MLB News

I'm officially bored with the cardboard cutouts. Watching the Twins game at PNC Park the other day with no distracting cutouts behind the plate was a nice change.

Re: Simple Pleasures...

Not really a simple pleasure but could not think of anywhere else to put this. Company that owns 7-11 is buying Speedway stores (formerly SuperAmerica). Hoping they bring slurpees back to MN and get Speedway back in shape. IMO Speedway is by far the worst chain of convenience stores in metro area. ...

Re: Movies

Movie theater seems way too risky. You know people are removing the masks when it gets dark. There were only 10 people in the theater. Reserved seating only (properly distanced). My son and I wore masks for the entire movie and it felt perfectly safe. Without getting political, my personal opinion ...

Re: Movies

The movie theater near my house has been showing classic movies since opening up a few weeks ago. I went to see "Back To The Future" last night with my 11 year old son. It was the first time I've been in a theater since seeing "1917" last December. "Back To The Future" is one of my favorite movies o...

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014-2020: Here's Your Damn Thread

I turned the game on in the 7th inning last night. Super weird with no fans. Wrigley Field looked almost unrecognizable with the huge advertisements in the outfield bleachers. The piped in cheering after strikeouts was lame. I dunno about this. I thought the shortened season was a sham anyway, but i...

Re: Restaurant

I love Fair food while walking around at the Fair, but I have zero interest in getting it as drive-thru. Side note... has the Turkey To Go sandwich always been that expensive? I haven't been to the Fair in a few years, but I seem to remember it being around $6-ish. As good as it is, $9.00 seems a li...
