That was a clown-show by Arraez. He was fooled because everybody stayed on a base. Throw home, then third. Easy double play. Chance for a triple play at 2nd.

They don’t want the players sitting around for hours together in the clubhouse, and It’s easier to just give up and reschedule when you don’t have to worry about the fans. (And there was enough chance of periodic Storms that would continue to cause delays)

No one complained. The umpires don’t initiate that kind of stuff (also base coaches not in the coaching box, other ancillary stuff). If someone complains, they will I force for everyone. Like the curve in a hockey stick.

My nurse wife rolls her eyes when I say this, but I'm convinced I had the virus in late Feb/early March, before it was really on our radar here in Minnesota. Whatever it was, it lasted for almost 3 weeks, and I've never had something so deep in my lungs before. I’m getting a serology test tomorrow....

A little late on this. On Wednesday, during my weekly Speedgolf round, this happened. It was about 5:45 AM, and there was a lot of dew on the greens. This is a 100 yd hole, and I hit my sandwedge. It was real high; you can see the ball mark, but no trail in the dew. It must have taken the one bounce...
