Re: Local Broadcasting/Media

Take away our niche desires to watch college hockey on TV right now, is there any reason why YouTubeTV or any provider would pay premium prices to have FSN on it's line-up this winter? There is virtually nothing going on live that interests a wide variety of viewers. It sure feels like a smart busin...

The kids have been very respectful, and we have been keeping our eye on the nest from a distance. It i...

Re: Simple Pleasures...

Last night some neighbors had bonfires. My bedroom windows were open so when I went to bed it smelled like I was at camp without ever lighting my own fire. Wonderful scent! :dup: Bonfires are allowed in Edina... :confused2: :shocking: :poke: Well, it has to be approved wood in an approved fire pit,...

Re: Simple Pleasures...

A co-worker of mine is living off the grid for the next 4-6 months. He is going to hike the Appalachian trail. All he took with him was 2 change of clothes, very little toiletries, sleeping bad, tent, some first aide items and a backpack. He also has a small cooker for food. And very little food. H...

Re: Television

Finally decided to watch Band of Brothers and I'm disappointed in myself for not watching it earlier. I wanted to see it when I was younger but didn't have HBO at the time. I guess I just kind of forgot about it for awhile. I plan on checking out The Pacific series next. BoB is quite possibly the b...
