I LOATHE plain mayonnaise. Stuff makes me gag if I detect it on a sandwich/burger/whatever.

Speaking of shortages, I've been looking for a shifter add-on for the racing sim rig I bought for Christmas. Because all the pro drivers went and got rigs for e-racing, you can't find a damn shifter ANYWHERE, unless you're willing to pay $400 for a $50 piece of plastic. Unreal.

What surprised me at Hy Vee in Brooklyn Park yesterday was all of the people with mass quantities of bottled water in their carts. As far as I can tell, there's no fear of the water supply being affected by this, unlike in a natural disaster situation.

We hosted our first Thanksgiving today. Not a huge crowd, just the three of us and my parents. Brined turkey breast, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, stuffing with a crapton of meat in it, corn spoonbread, and candied carrots. Friggin' amazing, if I say so myself.

The macaroni and cheese (with bacon and chiles) from Smalley's BBQ in Stillwater lives on at Portside in the same town.

I never got the love for Pig Ate My Pizza. It is overpriced and overpresented and hardly satisfying.
