Market forces. I'm guessing that's comparable to how much a WBB coach is worth in D1.

They lost $2MM and she's being paid $600 K. You aren't going to make money on womens hoops. Why shell out that much for a coach? I could see $200 K on the high end.

For a continent that fancies themselves so much more cultured, more intelligent, and generally superior to the US, they sure do suck a lot. I'd make fun of them more, but we're on the same path and making up for our delayed start with a faster pace.

Relatively, yes. Had the Europeans borrowed at the pace we have the last three years, their debt:GDP ratios would be even more ridiculous than they are now.

BILLY, if you're going to keep playing outside during a hail storm put on your safety helmet! (But will it protect you from lightening? Or just melt into your head?)team22tank wrote:Kelor wrote:Zwak wrote:Thinking about building a new home in MN? New building code may require sprinkler systems in all new homes.

Haha, actually wouldn't surprise me. I saw on Kare11 last week they were saying people should where helmets in the event of a severe weather warning (not necessarily a bad idea especially for kids). However, the way they were talking about it I was thinking it won't be long before this becomes law.

I wasn't referring to yours specifically, just the idea that the Government keeps having to impose new code after new code just to keep us safe, including from ourselves. And the fireworks thing that Dayton just vetoed is one I'm still kind of upset about.

To be fair to the governments passing these things though, a lot of it has to do with the death of personal responsibility.

I'd disable it as soon as I move in. I'd take my chances. I've seen what water damage can do if a sprinkler system fails. Not pretty.

And lord knows the risk of accidental discharge by a sprinkler system is sooo much greater than the risk of a fire.
