Two things

1. The aux. input jack in my car stereo. Hardly ever use the CD player anymore.

2. Not sure how this will be received but as much as love Gopher Hockey, I love that there is an offseason where not much happens and there is little press coverage. It just makes my excitement for the upcoming season that much greater. One of the reasons I have lost interest in the NFL is that the coverage is non-stop throughout the year.

Taking your almost 2 year old to the zoo for the first time (outside of when she was an infant). Seeing the excitement on her face and hearing "more animals" and "me happy" for 3 hours today was truly a lot of fun

This is what I love about college hockey in general. I can get all the information I want on all the teams and not feel like I'm being bombarded with useless information. I feel as if people who run the college hockey websites aren't saying things just to get a reaction for more page views, like sites for other sports do.

Splittsville was great...man the Gopher fans represented well in Tampa

Especially the players families...they really deserve a lot of praise because they are a fun group! :good2:

Tampa in general...for a non hockey market they really did do a good job for this and really embraced it.

Doing the "Sue is a Girls Name" chant at Hattricks with BADger, Michigan and Hockey East fans! The whole crew from the Embassy Suites was pretty epic actually including "Too Soon" and his crew. (you would know them if you were there)

50 fans by the pool, drinking, laughing and riding an inflatable turtle all afternoon while a DJ played music and things got weird :biggrin2:

My little cousin coming to the Sota Social and hanging with us for a bit. The first present I bought him was a Gopher hockey jersey, he is the biggest Gopher fan I know and now he is hooked on hockey thanks to the Gophers making it to Tampa.

The low tire pressure indicator in my car. It's my first car to have it and it saved me from an expensive repair/blow out. The pressure was down due to a screw in the tire. Wouldn't have noticed it until it was really low without the light going on.

I don't know how to categorize this or even what to say, but I certainly wanted to laugh out loud:

Girl A sitting in our student lounge sees another girl (girl B) walk by her, then turn and walk away from girl A (girl B never saw girl A). As girl B is about 40 feet away, girl A puts her hand up, waves, and whispers "Hi." She does this two more times, and after girl A has left the room, girl B looks at me, then looks around her, utterly confused why girl A did not say hi back.

My vehicle's tires call for 33psi. The light goes on at 25. Happens quite a bit in the winter. People don't check their tire pressure nearly often enough. Even on the motorcycles I see. It's crazy. It causes the tire's life to be cut quite substantially as well as poor handling characteristics.

When they got a new stadium this year, they changed the name so Miami-Dade county would help pay.

Finding out the benefits of spending a lot of extra time making sure my deck was square and plum. I really put a lot of extra time in. I thought it would unimportant when I was doing it, but I like to do things right. Now that I have put on the decking and set the rail posts and railings, the extra work is paying off. I have not had to make goofy cuts or cheat or shim. I love it. It looks great too.
