People who are just itching for a chance to be a victim...
I voted tonight after work (Longs Creek Elementary, Precinct 3084 in the house!

). As you enter the polling places here, there are a few very large signs that outline the rules. Standard fare...no campaigning at the polling station, no voting twice, etc. One very large sign has a picture of cell phone in a circle with a line through it. It also has a notice that cell phones are not allowed in the voting booths.
So...I'm attempting to vote when the guy in the booth a couple down from mine opens up his cell phone. I didn't notice this until the polling official said, "sir - please put the phone away, state election rules do not allow that." The guy snaps back that it was in airplane mode, therefore it was not a cell phone.
This went on for a good five minutes solid.
As the guy left, he was literally shouting about his disenfranchisement...while his screamfest with the polling official ended up causing delays for the dozen or so folks waiting behind him to vote. To the credit of the polling official, he kept his cool the whole time...there's no reason for some

hole like this to abuse a senior citizen who is essentially volunteering his time as an election worker.
