I wonder if that is similar to the look someone gets when somebody accepts free Wolves tickets.

The bravado is a bit lower this morning here, too...
The locker room at the gym is full of TVs tuned to Sportscenter. As I was getting ready to leave this morning, one of the guys near me mentioned that it must be nice for a team to have a QB like that (as opposed to the Cowboys).
I put on my Minnesota jacket and said, "why yes it is."

Seems strange that you're building a fort for a child who is old enough to drink...
I could buy a 12 pack of Golden Light bottles and some orange pedialyte, then I would drink a beer and then fill it with pedialyte for him. I did just that and he never drank pedialyte so fast in his life! Sorry about the long story but didn't want anyone to think that I was a stark raving drunk and was pushing my lifestyle on my children!

Wuss, I rode to work everyday for the last two weeks.![]()
BTW - I don't think anyone on this board wants to know what you do with your bike and your pickle.

What is the airline or location?
SouthTexGopher wrote:Neely, it's a gamble, but I'd hold off and use Priceline if it were my own money. I've never gone wrong with it - and I've always saved actual money using the website. In fact, I'm sitting in a great suite in Houston right now that I booked this afternoon...and I am paying about 60% of list for it.

Greyeagle wrote:My $0.02, the more tickets you need to buy the less likely you will find a better deal closer to the flight. They way airlines are cutting their capacity my gut tells me you may not find something much cheaper and personally I hate the unknown of not having a flight booked when I know I am going to fly so it doesn't bother me if the price ends up dropping. But to Florida in March.....methinks those fares will only go up until your get less than 2-3 weeks out. I'd also add that typically the non-stop flights will sell out more quickly and any last minute deals you find might involve at least one stop - not sure how old your kids are but something to consider.
Usually I cruise the various travel sites looking for fares then go directly to that airline to make the purchase. For whatever reason I don't trust the travel sites and have always found the same fare on whatever airline I am making the purchase. I guess this might not work for Priceline as they operate a little differently.
Like the rube said, it's always a gamble.

Hopefully on to bigger and blue-er things (UKentucky is my #1 choice for grad school). Might need to change my username as the bluegrass state certainly isn't the state of hockey
Neely wrote:When I was a kid we only took a vacation once (in 6th grade). It was scheduled for April but we had it planned in August. So, my sister and I, in anticipation of our first trip on an airplane made a paper chain that included one link for every day until we left. Strung it all over the living room and then took one link off each day. Loved seeing that thing skrink knowing we were headed for sunny California when they were all gone.

I get kicked back to the menu after a loss and "Ain't No Sunshine" by Bill Withers starts playing. Epic.

Hey, can you still load up your own stuff?
I had one of the older NHL games for PC a few years ago and had it set to play tsome of my favorites - including the Rouser - after my team scored. It was extremely easy to customize the music in that older version. If the new one allows that, it might be worth it to pick it up (if it's available on Wii).

And btw, if you ever get the chance to sit next to Glen at a hockey game and BS with him, it is a highly recommended experience. The guy knows more puck than everyone on GPL combined.
