How does anyone make any comments on the official league website- I read all these bios etc, however there is no contact information- is anyone accountable for anything? if so how do you let them know?

Scroll to the bottom of the main page. You will see feedback. I would give that a shot.
Don't let your mind wander; it's far too small to be let out on its own.

I like the new WCHA Mobile Scoreboard this year. Tried it this weekend and it's great.

How's the delay? Is it updated frequently?

On Friday the shots on goal were updated more frequently on the WCHA Mobile Scoreboard than on the physical scoreboard in Mariucci. I am not exaggerating.

There is a reason for this....

Currently Mariucci is having computer communication problems with the scoreboard. They have been trying to fix the problem. But for now they have to call down to the penalty box a few times a period to update the shots. BUT... The online stats on the GopherSports website are accurate. The WCHA are getting there stats directly from the stats computer at the arenas. I may even try to integrate the WCHA scoreboard in to GPL scoreboard page so that the updates are automatic.

Back to the Mariucci scoreboard problems.... The company that supplies the computer to operate the scoreboard has offered to replace the computer system, but it would be very expensive. So the staff would prefer to band-aid the solution as best as they can for now since it looks like they will be getting a new scoreboard in hopefully 2-3 years. The key word there is hopefully.

Didn't they just replace the scoreboard? Or was that just the video screen?

Thanks for the explanation. I was baffled as to how or why that could be happening, in Mariucci of all places.

I checked out the mobile scoreboard and I wasn't impressed. They updated it maybe three or four times during the game. Only after goals...

I integrated the WCHA.com scoreboard page in to the GPL Scoreboard page.(iframe) So we will see who stays more up to date on Gopher scores. It will at least be easier for us to keep track of other WCHA games, which is nice.

This looks good, although there was a discrepancy between the GPL scoreboard and the WCHA scoreboard on the player that scored AA's goal.
Please continue the petty bickering.

Yeah... I was trying to watch two games at the same time, so I really didn't care who scored for AA.
