Deleted Users....

I just did some "pruning" to some user accounts. It's good to do this every few years to keep the database cleaner. I removed anyone that registered before 12/31/2005, who had not logged in since 12/31/2005 and who had zero posts. They needed to meet all three criteria. I ended up deleting 180 accounts.

To see the list of hidden users just click the "Show" button.

Just curious, what sort of load/storage does the user database take up? Does trimming help performance or is this just a housekeeping thing?

If you want to "prune" a couple more, I have two other accounts that I registered under...but never was able to get the logins to work (AlanInSA and AlaninSanAntonio).
Where's the $18k?

I am sure I can come up with a list of alternates that can be deleted. Let's see, "DrunkHockey<something>"... j/k

Trimming old users will not help when you go to sell out to the corpies and cash in on this site. You need to have as many as you can. ;)
