Anyone out there?

Hmmm.... It's been a while since I have blogged. I figured I should at least write something here right? Yeah... I probably should.

Politics suck!No really! I think it sucks! I mean the 120 day Minnesota State Legislature session for 2009 is almost over. Yet we have no budget. They are just waiting until the last moment to get things done. Soooo what are they doing for the other 119 days? Oh that's right... they are too busy bitching and picking sides. Who's fault is it? The Democrats? the Republicans? It's both!

You were elected to be a Governor, a State Representative or a State Senator. You are representing the people of the state of Minnesota, not a political party. Oh... but if someone goes against their party, the party may nominate someone else to represent the them come election time. So they would rather just stick with the party line than risk not getting re-elected. How sad is that! You are supposed to be representing the people, yet you base your decisions strictly on personal/party preservation. Isn't that great!!!

The National level is even more of a joke.... I really don't want to waste time on them because it would just piss me off even more. I guess we are pretty much stuck with our current political process. So I say.... Politics suck!

But it's all good!! I can accept it because I know nothing will change. I could go on bitching about it... How we should get rid of lobbyists. How we should have term limits and whatnot... But I just don't feel like going in to that. I basically just wanted to blog something new to see if anyone is reading this. (hehehe)

Though I guess I may be in trouble here since I am talking "politics" on GPL....
