I don't know why you'd want to get hit for a living, but he gave and took 'em with the best of the best.

I was 10 years old at the time of the first Ali-Frazier fight in March of 1971. I will not speak for others, but for me there has been no sporting event before or since of that magnitude. It's difficult to find the words to do it justice; it was like the entire planet came to a stop and focused in on Madison Square Garden.

Up goes Frazier!!! Rest in peace Joe. Here's to the champ!

Boxing's golden years culminated with the trio of Frazier - Ali - Foreman. You're right, back then it was a world wide event. Even non boxing fans got caught in the current.

I am going to put this here but I thought we had or used to have a boxing thread.

Marquez KO's Pacquiao. Marquez had won one round and was getting bloodied but slipped a punch with 1 second remaing in the 6th round and knocked Pacquiao out on his feet. Pacquiao fell face first to the canvas with hands at his side and didn't move.

I think we will see a 5th fight between these two.
