My cousin's wedding a couple weeks ago was a traditional Catholic mass. Ugh.
I think it took a little over an hour. The actual service was probably 40 minutes, the other 30 minutes was taken up by how deliberate and slow everything was.
I mean, the priest would be standing up at the alter, then walk at an excruciatingly slow pace down to the table or whatever in front, kneels down and does the cross thing. The alter boy waits til he is done with all this stuff, and then walks up to him to hold the book for him to read out of. Slooooooooow.
And on top of all that, this is the only Catholic family out of 5 in our family. So we all have to sit there and play cards or something while the Catholics take communion because we're not good enough, apparently
At least the reception was fun
